In order to ensure no guests are getting behind the wheel inebriated, and also space being limited at the space for parking, transportation will be provided to and from the Wood family farm and the Hotels listed on the "Travel" tab.

Residence Inn Kansas City at The Legends. There will also be buses to take our guests to the wedding location at 3:00 PM. There will be refreshments to enjoy at the ceremony location and the ceremony will start at 4:00 pm.

Residents Inn Kansas City at the Legends. We do have a Hotel Block of 25 rooms reserved for all of our friends and family, and for the block you don't need to pay until you arrive. The rates are: One Bedroom King Suite with pull out sofa-$179 plus tax King Studio Suite with pull out sofa-$169 plus tax However, if you want to prepay to save some money, the rates are closer to $147-$150 per night, and you can use the code "DQ8" for an extra 10% off. There are also other Hotels within walking distance to the residence inn pickup location that have comparable rates: "Homewood Suites by Hilton Kansas City Speedway", "Candlewood Suites Kansas City Speedway by IHG", "Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Kansas City at Village West, KS", "Holiday Inn Express Kansas City - at the Legends by IHG".

We appreciate and understand the cost commitment it takes just to join us on this special day and we are so thankful for you. We wanted to provide the easiest and most affordable travel experience for all of our friends and family to attend. Our goal was to make travel easy enough so you don't need to rent a car if you don't want to. Surrounding the Hotels listed above is a huge outdoor shopping area with tons of restaurants right next to KS Speedway, all within walking distance. We will have the prearranged transportation to the wedding, so the only reason you'd need to rent a car is if you want to explore downtown Kansas City while you are here.
