LOVE Comes Back Around Full Circle

Although we walked the same high school halls, we were not high school sweethearts. We were more like distant strangers. We knew each other's names, and even knew some of the same people but never crossed paths. I guess you would say it wasn't our time. Years passed by, and we began to follow each other on social media. We finally broke silence and started communicating. We would casually check in on one another. Neither one of us was actually looking to start a new relationship. We both were starting a new chapter . One day it all changed. We went on a lunch date to Cava and the dynamic of our friendship shifted. The conversation changed. The actions and the way we felt towards each other all changed. We became inseparable. We began to see each other in a different light. We took our time to relearn each other. Not holding on to what we use to know about one another in our high school years. We began to reteach each other and learn what true love is, and how we wanted to be love. Each day we grew not only as an individual, but also as a whole unit. We found out that we just balanced each other out. Every single day felt "right", and just made sense. A'Keem would always make it known, "that's my wife", but on August 18, 2024 he took the next step. Almost two years later after dating, learning, trusting, counseling, communicating, loving, and building a family, we can finally share one of the greatest moments of our lives with all of you. we can not wait to be surrounded by all of the love and support on our special day. Tiffany, we're like SALT and PEPPER! I consider you as more than a friend, you're my sister.  We can just look at each other and be thinking the same thing or react the same way. Tiffany, you're my longest friendship and best friend forever.  We became friends in third grade, but best friends in the seventh.  We have been inseparable ever since then.  Every milestone, we accomplished them together.  From teenagers until now adults, we have seen and done it all.  From having babies, to them growing to be best friends as well. I love you the same as I loved you then, and I couldn't ask for a better BESTIE.  We're not only friends, we are FAMILY!

Tiffany and I made a casual joke in an AAMU college group chat in 2014.  We vowed to being college best friends, but little did we know that it would turn into a lifelong friendship.  I'm honored to stand beside a friend who has taught me so much about life and helped me navigate through.  From how to cook, to how to control my temper, Tiffany has never fallen short in the friend department.  Whether I asked for a ride down the street or a ride across the state, my friend was riding until the wheels fell off and then some.  Through this friendship, I have learned love, loyalty, and evolution.  Cheers to my best friend on becoming a wife.

I met Tiffany when I was just 15 years old.  She was my sister's college friend.  Back then I would have never expected that she would grow and mean so much to me.  Over the years, she have casually stepped into the big sister role.  She's someone who has guided me, supported me, and loved me as if we were family.  Tiffany has always had a way of showing up when it matters most, offering encouragement, laughter, and a listening ear without ever being asked.  One of the moments that meant the most to me was having her at my baby shower.  Her presence showed me that we weren't just connected through my sister, but she was there for me wholeheartedly during one of my biggest milestones.  Tiffany is truly one of the sweetest, most genuine person you will ever meet.  Watching her flourish, and step into this beautiful chapter has been such an honor.  She has always been someone I could look up to not only as a friend, but as a lifelong sister.  I couldn't be happier standing beside her as she begins this incredible journey of being a wife.
