Q + A

WHEN IS THE WEDDING?

Saturday, August 12 , 2023. The ceremony starts at 5:30PM. Please give yourself time to find seating before the ceremony starts. Cocktail hour, dinner and reception to follow. Both the ceremony and reception will be at the Waterview Loft at Port Detroit.

DO I NEED TO RSVP?

Yes! Please RSVP as soon as possible so we can get an accurate headcount for food. You can RSVP through our website or mail your RSVP to us. Kindly RSVP by July 15th, 2023 If you cannot attend, we will miss you, and would appreciate you letting us know at the soonest opportunity. Those that do not RSVP by July 15th - we are sorry you cannot make it. If you miss this date, we may be unable to accommodate your presence at the wedding, as we will send final headcount to vendors shortly after this deadline.

IS THERE A DRESS CODE?

While there is no specific dress code, we do ask that you dress nicely. Please no jeans / shorts. Please also refrain from wearing white in respect of the bride.

HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS

If you would like to stay overnight, we have rooms blocked off at the Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance Center. This hotel is a 3-minute walk to the wedding venue. There are several other hotels in the Detroit / Metro Detroit area as well, however we only have rooms blocked off at the Marriott.

CAN I BRING A PLUS ONE?

We are unable to accommodate plus ones at our wedding unless specifically indicated on your invite. If you are confused, when you RSVP on our website and type in your name, you will see if you have a plus one! We want everyone to share in the celebration and will ensure that folks will be around familiar and friendly company. We appreciate your understanding!

IS SEATING RANDOM?

Nope! For the ceremony, sit wherever you please. However, we will be carefully arranging tables so our guests are sat with those they know (or their plus one or partner).

CAN I BRING MY KIDS?

We love your little ones - however, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adult-only event with the exception of children in our immediate family, children traveling with parents, or children in the wedding party. We encourage you to use this evening to have a fun date night!
