Tim and Joey met freshman year at Ithaca College. Their initial friendship was one of location, as Joey - who lived across the hall - leveraged Tim’s sophomore year “suite style” dorm room for many parties. Their friendship grew over the years due to a shared love of yelling at strangers on the internet while playing video games. You can thank Joey for Tim’s knowledge of Judaism prior to meeting Hannah.

Tim and Tyler met in 2006 when they both toured the US with the Crossmen Drum and Bugle Corps. After a few years of drum corps together, Tyler decided to move to Austin soon after Tim. Since then, they grew as friends as they explored Austin’s music venues, bars, and breweries - both finding the loves of their lives in the same city years after initially moving to TX.

Hannah and Becca met sophomore year of high school. They spent many summers sitting by the pool discussing everything from recipes to politics. Becca is a person who is always up for an adventure. She convinced Hannah to travel through Kenya with her in 2013, and continues to keep Hannah cool and hip.

Hannah and Eliza met through an alternative teaching certification program in Austin in June 2011. They bonded quickly over a love of brunch, public education, and late night dance parties. Eliza is a person who gets things done! She always has an agenda and/or spreadsheet made for any important event—including the adventurous search for Hannah’s wedding dress.

Hannah and Katie met freshman year of high school in Hebrew language class #בָּרוּך . They spent most of high school watching reality TV shows and singing Nelly songs. Katie and Hannah have stayed best friends for almost twenty years (and are probably still singing Nelly or any other 2004 top hits together).

Hannah and Sarah met in their freshman year of college at Boston University. Sarah won Hannah over with her constant supply of baked goods and ability to bust into a choreographed dance routine at any moment. Sarah is highly organized and detail oriented. You can thank Sarah for getting Hannah to make a wedding Pinterest board.
