Tim and Randi may have met in a modern manner (on Hinge) but their story goes far beyond that first swipe.

It all started in December 2021...

Despite having their locations set to "New York City" Tim and Randi both happened to be home for the holidays. When the pair realized Tim was in Chicago, and Randi was under two hours away in Janesville, they decided "why wait" and planned their first date in the Windy City at a cute Cuban speakeasy, Sparrow.

That first date started around 6:30 and time flew by as they chatted the night away. Before they knew it it was 10:30 and time for Randi to head home.

A few weeks later Randi moved back to New York and Tim kindly asked her to go on a second date. When discussing a good "in-between" location to avoid a long commute, the pair realized they only lived an 8-minute walk apart.

This was just the beginning of "too good to be true" moments, God really did have quite the plan.

March 14th, 2022, Tim officially asked Randi to be his girlfriend, and after spending so much time getting to know each other those first few months, Randi quickly responded "Yes!".

If you know Tim and Randi well, they both have a few "old soul" characteristics so it shouldn't surprise you that they both knew exactly what they were looking for in their forever person. Tim and Randi were intentional since day one, had the big conversations early on, and quickly realized that although neither are perfect individuals, they are perfect for each other.

Fast forward to July 8th, 2023, Tim and Randi were on a trip home to the Midwest. The last weekend of the trip they were back in Chicago, and while Randi thought they were headed out for a friend's birthday, Tim had other big plans.

Tim pulled off quite the surprise with a proposal on the Chicago River, a romantic cocktail date, and a surprise engagement party with all of their closest family and friends.

Tim and Randi are so thankful that each and every one of you helped shape them into the individuals and couple they are today. Your love and support means the world to them, and they cannot wait to celebrate with everyone soon as Husband and Wife!
