Transportation Details & Schedule
Is there parking available near your wedding venues?
Ceremony:
Please use the church parking lot, an open parking lot of a near-by (i.e. Walgreens), or street parking. If you are staying at Hotel Goodwin or The Ironworks Hotel, the church is only an 8-10 minute walk away.

Feel free to park your car in the parking lot, ONLY if you plan to drive it out of the lot later that night to return home. For guests staying in Beloit we will have shuttles running from all four hotels with room blocks to and from the Beloit Club.
Will there be a shuttle to and/or from the hotel(s)?
Yes, we have rented shuttles to drive guests from the hotels (after the ceremony) to the Beloit Club for the reception, and then from the Beloit Club to either your hotel or downtown pubs after the reception.

What should I do if I miss the shuttle?
Please try to call an Uber first. If you cannot get an Uber, please reach out to the parents of the bride and groom, and they can help arrange a ride with close family or friends. There will be plenty of helping hands on site, so under no circumstance should you drink and drive.

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?
All events will be indoors. We will be getting married inside of the church, and all reception events will be inside, with an option to access outdoor spaces if the weather permits.
Have you reserved blocks of rooms at one or more hotels?
Yes, we have reserved room blocks at the following hotels: Hotel Goodwin, Ironworks Hotel, Fairfield Inn by Marirott, and Hilton Home2 Suites
What should I do if your room blocks fill up?
It is likely that the boutique hotels (Goodwin & Ironworks) will fill up quickly as they do not have many rooms. If this happens, please look into the larger room blocks at the Fairfield Inn by Marriott and Hilton Home2 Suites.
What is the dress code for your wedding?
The bride and groom kindly ask you to dress in formal attire. For ladies, this may be a dress or jumpsuit. For men, this may be collared shirts, slacks, and ties. When in doubt, remember to keep it classy.
Am I allowed to bring a plus one?
Due to capacity limits you can only bring the guests who have been formally invited on your invitation. If you have any additional questions on this topic, please reach out to the bride and groom.
Am I allowed to bring my children?
Due to capacity limits at the ceremony and reception venues, the only children in attendance are those who are in the wedding party and/or immediate family. If you have any additional questions on this topic, please reach out to the bride and groom.
Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?
Please use the registry, linked on the wedding website for all gifts. The registry will give you an option to ship gifts directly to the bride and groom, which is their preferred way to receive them. For cards, please drop them in the card box at the reception (located in the fireside room).
Will there be any events the Friday before the wedding?
The bride and groom will be at Hotel Goodwin for rooftop drinks following the rehearsal dinner (around 8:00pm), please feel free to join them!
Will there be a time gap between your wedding ceremony and reception?
Yes. The wedding ceremony will end around 3:00pm, and the reception begins with cocktail hour at 4:30pm. This will give guests who are coming in from out of town ample time to check into their hotels and put their things away before coming to the reception. If you are local and have a gap in your day, we suggest going to Hotel Goodwin for rooftop drinks if it is nice outside, the bar at Merrill and Houston's, or a stroll outside by the river to kill some time.
Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?
The ceremony will be unplugged. The bride and groom ask that all guests ensure their devices on silent and put away during the ceremony. You will have plenty of time to take pictures with and of the bride and groom during the reception.
Is your venue smoke-friendly?
No. There is a zero tolerance policy for cigarettes, cigars, or any other vape devices on premises. Your device will be thrown away or you will be asked to leave if you are seen smoking on site.
I have more questions about your wedding, who can I contact?
Try to use the website for self-service first. If you have additional questions please refer to the parents of the bride and groom unless noted otherwise in this Q&A.
