Our Wedding

Timmy and I officially met in the summer of 2019 through mutual friends we shared from high school. We spent the summer getting to know one another better with each summer hangout we had with our friends. We spent nearly every day together between early mornings and late nights talking, playing nintendo smash on the switch and everything in between. Eventually, we became so close that everyone assumed we were already dating, which we technically were minus the label because a certain someone who will not be named was being silly lol.&nbsp;

Chapter I: Friends

On October 2, 2021, we finally became a couple! Tim took me on our second date to the San Jose Water Lantern Festival and we ended the night as boyfriend and girlfriend. We could have been going on our one year anniversary at that point, but I have always said he was well worth the wait. Timmy has taught me so much patience over the years and waiting for him to be completely ready to commit to me was worth it every single day. It feels like our dating stage was forever ago and also just yesterday. We both got to support one another throughout nursing school, spent numerous occasions and holidays with each other’s families, gone on fun trips together, and so much more.

Chapter II: Dating

The day finally came when Timmy and I moved in together and it has absolutely been the best feeling in the world to go from saying “goodnight and see you tomorrow” to waking up and going to sleep right next to you. Throughout the years we have battled with opposite and crazy schedules, but always knowing your presence is always near makes me feel so happy and safe.

Chapter III: Moving in Together

I SAID YES!!! I know, shocker shocker, but we got engaged! On June 3, 2025 Timmy got on one knee and popped the question! Being proposed to in Venice, Italy right by the water was beyond magical and special to us because all of our important moments together were near the water. I could tell Timmy was nervous the entire day because he spilled three different things on me during the day and he could not stop smiling at me (which is not all that different, but somehow it was). We were upgraded to fiancée and fiancé, and yes we cannot stop calling each other that.

Chapter IV: The Proposal 

Here we are, nearing our wedding day aka the beginning of forever. I know I speak for the both of us, but we cannot wait to spend the rest of our lives together, building a family, traveling the world, and cuddling in each others arms. Lastly, we would just like to say how much we love and appreciate every single one of you for coming together in our honor to celebrate us and our love whether you have known us for long or not, we would not be here together without the endless support we have from our loved ones.

Prioritize your comfort with fabrics and styles that allow for dancing and movement. While, traditional Indian attire (lehengas, salwars, or kurtas) or fusion wear (palazzo sets, anarkali dresses) is often worn throughout our events, it is not mandatory, and formal Western attire with festive colors is also appropriate. Lastly, as we are having a traditional Gujarat-Hindu wedding, please do NOT wear red as to honor the bride. If unsure, please consult the wedding hosts about attire.

If you are feeling festive and would like to wear traditional Indian attire or fusion wear, you can order outfits online at Etsy, Nordstrom, Lashkaraa, etc.I highly recommend that you throughly read the reviews for sellers and outfits to maximize your experience.
