Free street-parking is available on any street surrounding Dimnent Chapel. (For guests needing wheelchair access, there is a ramp leading up to double-doors on the street-side of the building and an elevator just inside those doors). Additionally, any Hope College parking lot marked with an "S" for "Student" is available for free parking for guests in the summer. Eighth street is also just a few blocks over and has daytime public parking for guests who might want to park downtown beforehand and walk over for the ceremony.

Yes, the JW Marriott has an attached parking garage (235 Louis Campau Promenade NW, Grand Rapids, MI, 49503) with self-parking for $10 and valet parking for an additional cost for guests who are not staying overnight at the hotel. The parking garage is connected to the JW Marriott by the Skybridge.

We have loosely set a semi-formal dress code, but please wear what you are most comfortable in, as long as you kindly avoid wearing white or athletic-wear.

No, we have not arranged for any scheduled transportation for guests; however, we want all of our guests to have as easy travel as possible. Please reach out to Tim or Em directly if transportation will be an issue!
