What if I need to change my RSVP?
We understand that plans can change. If you need to adjust your RSVP after the deadline, please contact us as soon as possible.
Do your venues have parking?
There is plenty of parking for both events. For the welcome event, there is a large free parking lot behind and beside the brewery.
The ceremony venue also has a lot of free parking outside the clubhouse.
Please feel free to leave your cars overnight for both venues, in case you do not feel comfortable driving home.
Is the wedding event indoors or outdoors?
It is both! The ceremony will take place outside at the ceremony lawn on the golf course. The cocktail reception will be on the outdoor patio. The reception and dancing will take place indoors.
Are children invited to the wedding?
As much as we love your kiddos, the ceremony and reception will be limited to adults. We recognize that some of you will be traveling with your kids, so please know they are welcome at the Welcome Drinks on Friday. Please feel free to reach out if you have questions or would like help finding childcare.
What should I wear to the wedding?
We invite you to wear attire that reflects your personal style, whether it's Nigerian Aso Ebi, semi-formal, or cocktail attire. For Aso Ebi, think vibrant fabrics like ankara, lace, aso oke, or silk, tailored into stylish outfits. Alternatively, opt for semi-formal looks such as cocktail dresses for ladies or suits with ties or sports coats for gentlemen. We're excited to see the fusion of Nigerian and American fashion on our special day!
Can I bring a +1?
Please check your invite as we have space limitations at our venue. Thanks for your understanding
Do you have a dress code?
For those following Nigerian customs, please feel free to dress in attires with a touch of emerald green and / or burnt orange
Are there any Nigerian traditions that will be incorporated in the wedding?
Yes, there will be a traditional Yoruba element included in our wedding, specifically the custom of "spraying" money.
What does "spraying of money" mean and what do I do?
The "spraying" of money is a vibrant and joyful Yoruba wedding tradition, similar to the dollar dance. During this custom, guests show their love and happiness for the couple by throwing or gently placing money on them as they dance.
If you would like to participate, you can bring some cash (typically in small denominations) to join in the spraying of money during the dance. However, this is totally optional. If you prefer not to participate, that's perfectly fine too. Your presence and support are what truly matter to us!
I have a food allergy. Can I make a special request?
When you RSVP, please indicate any dietary restrictions
