So the way I remember it is like this…Stacy and I were both in Houston and were strolling around the same Barnes and Nobles. Suddenly, we grabbed the same book to read from opposite aisles…LOVE AND LOVE ONLY…Just kidding, that was Mini and Sudthi from my favorite Malayalam movie, ANIYATHIPRAVU! I dreamed all my life to meet my person the way Mini and Sudthi did. Little did I know that my love story is even better than that. Stacy first caught my eye at the 2013 Detroit KCYLNA Summit. For the very last round of the infamous speed dating game, I was paired with Stacy. Once I laid my eyes on her, I couldn’t take them off of her the whole weekend. Even though she does not remember this first encounter, I remember it like it happened yesterday. Unfortunately I didn’t have enough game to talk to her, so 2013 KCYLNA Summit wasn’t our beginning. Fast forward to 2016 Houston KCCNA Convention and I told my friend, Jincy Joseph, about my interest in Stacy. Jincy introduced Stacy to me and we officially had our first conversation. Since Snapchat was the popular thing back then, I managed to get her Snapchat. After convention, I got to know her a little better as we Snapchatted here and there. When 2018 Atlanta KCCNA Convention came around, I ran into her the first day and we never left each other’s side that whole weekend…and every day after that. I’m so grateful that God allowed Stacy and I to reconnect many times throughout the years. Stacy has stood by my side through everything, and she continues to support me in everything. She is truly my best friend and I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with her…and turn her into the next biggest buccaneers fan!

I blame my horrible memory for not remembering our first encounter at 2013 Detroit KCYLNA Summit!! I first met Tobin when Jincy introduced us on the last night of 2016 Houston KCCNA Convention. He instantly caught my attention with his jokes and how easily he was able to make me laugh. He asked to add me on Snapchat and for some selfies together with Jincy…and some without Jincy which we both can’t find to this day. A few months after convention, I get a random Snapchat from Tobin that says “The weather is nice out today.” LOL Out of all the pick up lines he could have said to me, he chose Florida weather🥴 But all I could think of was how much he made me laugh that night at convention, so I responded. We kept in touch for some time, but didn’t really hit things off until 2018 Atlanta KCCNA Convention. By then, he learned some better pick up lines and swept me right off my feet. We have been inseparable ever since. We have grown so much together in our faith, love, and friendship over the years. Thanks to Karan Johar and Kunchacko Boban, Tobin is such a hopeless romantic and has given me that fairy tale type of love. It’s crazy to think we’re actually planning our wedding based on the love we started to build at the ages of 19 and 21. We’ve both earned enough frequent flier miles, and we’re so ready to call quits to long distance! See you at the altar, Toba ♥️
