What should I wear?
Think colorful semi-formal! The ceremony will be held outside and the reception will be in a semi-enclosed pavilion. Temperatures are usually in the 50-60s during the day and will dip as the sun goes down. We'll have heaters, but we'd recommend dressing on the warmer side and bringing a layer for the evening.
When do I need to RSVP by?
Please RSVP by June 1 by clicking the RSVP tab above!
Where do I park?
There's a dirt parking lot with ~20 spots available. The turn off can be hard to spot - it comes up on the left as you approach the venue from the town of Crested Butte. Keep an eye out for a small wooden sign pointing down a narrow road.
There may also be parking available in the Town Hall parking lot. Overflow parking should be along the west side of Gothic Road (the venue and Town Hall side of Gothic Road).
With limited spots, we encourage carpooling! Check out the Travel section above for more info on shuttle and transportation options in Crested Butte.
What time should I arrive?
The ceremony will begin at 3:00 pm. Please plan to arrive 15-30 minutes early to allow time to find parking and your seat.
Can I bring a guest or date?
Due to limited space at our venue, we're only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. All those invited, including plus ones, will appear under your name when you RSVP. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions!
Can I take pictures or video during the ceremony?
We ask that you please put your phones away once the ceremony begins.
Tips on traveling at altitude?
Stay hydrated! Drink plenty of water in the lead up to travel and throughout your stay to help with dehydration and altitude sickness. Staying a day or two in Denver, or another lower elevation town, can help mitigate your chance of altitude sickness.
Also keep in mind that alcohol hits some harder at altitude, especially if already dehydrated.
