A story that started over the song Africa and continues with marriage. That's the short version. The relationship began with the question "What song would you sing at karaoke?" Obviously the answer is Africa by Toto. What followed was a date at Tio Gordo's Mexican Restaurant in Port Huron and the rest is history.

Our relationship is hard to put into words, but is still fairly simple. Times have been complicated through a pandemic, running a business, and pediatric residency, but it showed us what was most important in life. We knew that even "through these unprecedented times" we were there for each other and always will be.

There are no words that we can write to best describe our love for each other and we both know our actions show much more than any words can. Thank you to everyone who was there along the way throughout our relationship and we are honored to have you as a part of our lives and as we take this next step in our lives together. We look forward to all of the memories that are yet to come as we stand side-by-side in life, ready for the next memory to be made.
