With the way that COVID is running rampant at the moment, we are asking each of our guests to obtain a negative COVID test within 72 hours of the wedding. We don't ask this to create extra work for you all or deter anyone from coming as we want everyone we love to be there. That being said, we will be leaving on our honeymoon just 4 days after the wedding and we are worried that if we contract COVID we won't be able to go or we could potentially get stuck in a foreign country along the way if we start presenting symptoms. To obtain this test, you can do this in any way you choose.- An at home test. If sometime between now and June you see a package of them, pick them up and hold onto them until the wedding.- A rapid test at a testing location.- A PCR test. Please make sure that the test results would come back in enough time. We really thank you for understanding our reasoning behind asking this of you. It will fully allow us to relax and enjoy this special day in our lives and we can't wait for you to be a part of it!

COVID Testing

A story that started over the song Africa and continues with marriage. That's the short version. The relationship began with the question "What song would you sing at karaoke?" Obviously the answer is Africa by Toto. What followed was a date at Tio Gordo's Mexican Restaurant in Port Huron and the rest is history. Our relationship is hard to put into words, but is still fairly simple. Times have been complicated through a pandemic, running a business, and pediatric residency, but it showed us what was most important in life. We knew that even "through these unprecedented times" we were there for each other and always will be. There are no words that we can write to best describe our love for each other and we both know our actions show much more than any words can. Thank you to everyone who was there along the way throughout our relationship and we are honored to have you as a part of our lives and as we take this next step in our lives together. We look forward to all of the memories that are yet to come as we stand side-by-side in life, ready for the next memory to be made.
