Our Wedding

Tomas and Christian’s story began back 2022, in El Paso, Texas, after connecting online and deciding to meet at Mas y Menos Coffee. Unbeknownst to Tomas, the coffee shop was just a five-minute drive from Christian’s house—in case the date needed a quick escape. What was meant to be a simple 60-minute coffee date (Tomas even set an alarm to pick up his parents from the airport) quickly turned into four hours of effortless conversation. Christian, hoping to impress Tomas, even ordered a beer—despite not being a fan. In those few hours, they discovered not only a magnetic connection but also how easy it was to just be themselves together. After that day, the bond between them only grew stronger. Soon, they embarked on their first big trip to New Orleans for Mardi Gras, which happened to fall on Christian’s 35th birthday—a leap of faith after only a few months of knowing each other. The trip was especially exciting for Tomas, who had lived in New Orleans for five years and was back hosting a Yelp tailgate party at the New Orleans Jazz Museum. Their adventure continued with a two-week journey through Europe, celebrating Pride Month in Mexico City, dancing to Christian’s favorite DJ in Denver, and creating countless memories together. For almost two years, Tomas and Christian navigated a long-distance relationship filled with frequent flyer miles, meticulous planning, and a healthy dose of spontaneity (hello, A-List status). Despite the miles between them, the time apart never felt hard—they spent countless hours on FaceTime and phone calls, always making sure the other felt loved and special. Their commitment to each other turned every reunion into something extraordinary. With time, they realized they had found not just the love of their lives, but their best friend and forever partner. On December 13, 2024, Tomas proposed to Christian on a Paris rooftop overlooking the city skyline. Now, as they look forward to their wedding at Majahuitas on Friday, November 13, 2026, Tomas and Christian invite their loved ones to join in the next joyful chapter of their incredible journey together.

In mid-November, Puerto Vallarta is at its best—expect plenty of sunshine, warm temperatures during the day (highs around 80°F/27°C), and comfortable, cooler evenings (lows in the low 70s). Rain is rare, humidity is low, and the ocean is perfect for swimming. Pack your beachwear, something light for daytime adventures, and a light jacket or wrap for breezy nights!

Flights

With many of our guests traveling from El Paso, New Orleans, and across all major Texas cities. Many airports should offer non-stop flights or a short layover. As of December 2025, flights are available up to October 2026. We recommend checking in the new year to see if November 2026 flights have been released. If you are able to fly out from Ciudad Juarez, we recommend doing so as you can grab a domestic flight from Juarez to Puerto Vallarta. We managed to grab a flight for November 2025 for about $250 RT.

Is travel insurance really necessary?

Because group reservations at all inclusive resorts are pre-paid and non-refundable, travel insurance is encouraged to protect your investment. Life is unpredictable; plans can change. You can also take a look at your credit card benefits to see if travel insurance is included already in your plan. The cost of insurance is based on your age, your state of residency and the total cost of your trip. Due to this, travel insurance prices will be quoted for each individual guest. DO WE HAVE TO STAY AT THE HOST HOTEL?

No you do not. There are plenty of hotels in the area as well as Airbnb's. We highly suggest you stay in the Nuevo Vallarta area for ease of access to the port our guests will be departing from the day of our wedding.

Beach Formal With a Colorful Twist

We’re so excited to celebrate with you by the ocean! Our dress code is beach formal—think elevated, breezy, and refined. Please help us make our day extra beautiful by dressing in our signature color palette: Apricot, Beige grey, Eucalyptus, Mauve rose, Gray tan, Burgundy beet, Teal mix, Peach dust, or Pale geranium—or anything in a similar color family (or complimenting to the color scheme)! Want to go bold? All-over prints and florals are highly encouraged.

For those wearing a suit: No need for a tie or bowtie (unless you want to be extra sharp), but we kindly ask everyone to wear a full suit and dress shoes.

Since we’ll be on the sand, leave your high heels at home and opt for block heels, wedges, or dressy sandals. We know the feel of sand between your toes is tempting, but please keep your shoes on throughout the wedding celebrations… then let’s kick them off and dance barefoot all night!

Wearing black is absolutely welcome. Just keep in mind, it might get pretty warm under the sun throughout the day—so if you go for darker shades, be sure you’ll stay comfortable.

Sealed with a Kiss in Paris, the City of Love

On Friday, December 13, 2024, they took a train with Christian’s family from London’s Paddington Station to Paris. As an anniversary surprise, Tomas gifted Christian a professional photoshoot—since, up to that point, their only photos together were on their phones. Christian was all set to debut his new leather puffy jacket for this stylish shoot, but Tomas slyly suggested a different look, mentioning that they could share the photos with our parents as gifts (which they later did). What Christian thought was simply a thoughtful anniversary photoshoot in Paris turned into something unforgettable; at the final rooftop spot, with the whole city as their backdrop, time seemed to pause for the surprise of a lifetime.
