Mitch and Tori's love story began unexpectedly during the COVID pandemic. Through mutual friends, they met at a small gathering, sparking a connection that would change their lives. Their first dates were at Rojo, followed by a romantic evening at Nightingale in Uptown. Shortly thereafter, Mitch had introduced Tori to a few of those in his inner circle.

As Mitch and Tori continued to spend time together by trying new restaurants, hiking at new places like Taylor's Falls, and spending nights cooking in and dancing to Leon Bridges songs together in the kitchen, their bond grew. However, life soon presented a challenge when Tori's mom was diagnosed with rare cancer during COVID. Tori offered Mitch an out, but his response revealed his true character and love for Tori: "I'll be here for you and your family; we have the rest of our lives together."

Through difficult times, Mitch's unwavering support and determination shone bright. Despite masked dates walking around the cold Minnesota lakes, and distance, their love flourished.

As they emerged stronger, Mitch and Tori discovered shared passions: traveling (with California being a favorite destination), relaxing at home, and seeking new adventures. Their introvert/extrovert balance harmonized perfectly.

After almost three years of dating, Mitch became the first boyfriend to join Tori's family trip, and in Croatia, he planned the ultimate romantic gesture. On Hvar Island's fortress, overlooking the breathtaking view of the Mediterranean Sea, he proposed. Tori said yes!

Now, Mitch and Tori are excited to begin their new life together, grateful for the unexpected encounter that brought them together, and excited to celebrate their marriage with their closest family and friends.
