To enhance the elegance of our special day, formal black attire is preferred. Semi-formal/formal dark-colored attire is acceptable. Men are requested to wear dark-colored suits. Women should wear full-length dresses, but if someone is wearing a cocktail dress, jump-suit, or a pant-suit, it would be acceptable. Wear that fun fancy dress in the back of your closet that you’ve saved for a rainy day or that fun tie you haven’t worn in forever. We're hoping to see you on the dance floor, so keep that in mind while getting dressed! Attire to avoid: jeans, khaki pants, polo shirts, etc.

Our shuttle will leave Delta Marriot Hotel at 4:00 PM sharp to head to the ceremony. Due to the holiday, ride-share services may be limited and pricey. For a stress-free holiday night for our guests, we have booked a shuttle. If you have booked a room at our hotel block, we recommend taking advantage of our complimentary shuttle service instead of rideshare; scheduled to and from our venue and hotel block throughout the night.

Yes! We've reserved a block of rooms at the Delta Marriott Hotel in Minneapolis at a special discounted group rate. Due to the holiday, we highly encourage guests to book their stay as soon as possible via our wedding website. Rooms are limited, so please reserve early. If the block is full, contact us directly. We're so excited to celebrate our wedding day with our closest family and friends! We are only able to accommodate guests named on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP online. Thank you for your understanding!

While we love your little ones, we want our closest friends and family to be able to relax and enjoy the evening. Our ceremony and reception will be adults-only, with the exception of immediate family. We encourage you to use this evening as a fun date night out!

The Whim offers ample parking, including overnight (all cars must be removed by the morning after though). Parking is complimentary at our hotel block at Delta Marriott for guests who book a room in our hotel block.
