WHAT EVENTS ARE BEING HELD DURING THE WEDDING WEEKEND? We will be hosting welcome drinks on Thursday, September 25 at Gather on Maui. See the Schedule tab for more details. The wedding will take place at the Andaz Resort Wailea on Friday, September 26 at 4pm. For those who wish to keep the party going, we'll be moving over to Mulligans on the Blue at 10pm for an after party. We will be hanging poolside at the Andaz on Saturday, September 27 - all are welcome!

WHERE SHOULD WE STAY? The wedding will be held outside on the Laule'a lawn at the Andaz Wailea. We recommend staying at the resort to take advantage of the convenience of being on property. However, you're welcome to stay wherever you'd like. Wailea is full of beautiful resort options! We've set up a room block with the Andaz. If you'd like to reserve a room in our room block, please reach out to thealmostcarmacks@gmail.com.

WILL THERE BE TRANSPORTATION PROVIDED? Yes, for all events off-property. For the Welcome Party, busses will depart the Andaz at 7:45pm. Return busses will be starting around 9:45pm from Gather back to the Andaz. Gather also has plenty of parking if you'd like to drive yourself! Ubers are also available on island. For the After Party, busses will depart the Andaz at 10:15pm to take us to Mulligans on the Blue, which is right down the street! There will not be return transportation provided, but Ubers are very easy to get.

WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE FOR ALL EVENTS? The welcome party is Island Cocktail. Think a blend of semi-formal and casual beach attire.&nbsp;For women, this means flowy dresses, or dressy separates in vibrant colors or bold prints.&nbsp;Men can opt for a short-sleeved, collared shirt (perhaps with a fun print) paired with chinos or linen pants, and dressy sandals, loafers, or boat shoes.&nbsp;Have fun with it! The wedding is Black Tie Optional. Tuxes are encouraged, but not mandatory! Please note that our ceremony and reception are on grass so we recommend avoiding stilettos.

ARE KIDS INVITED TO THE WEDDING? We love your kids, but this is an adults-only celebration. We've reserved a studio room on the main level of the hotel for kids to play during the reception. The Andaz highly recommends <a href="https://www.thenannyconnection.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Nanny Connection</a> for on-site nanny services.

CAN WE STILL HANG BY THE POOL ON SATURDAY IF WE'RE NOT STAYING AT THE ANDAZ? Yes! You can purchase day passes for the Andaz through <a href="https://www.resortpass.com/hotels/andaz-maui-wailea-resort" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Resort Pass</a>. We'd love to see you, but please do not feel obligated to join.

Tori’s love for a stud all started with a spud. It was St. Patrick’s Day in 2019. Both out celebrating in Santa Monica, we had many mutual friends but had never crossed paths—until that day. Well, sort of. Tori actually never met Sam that Saturday. Sam, however, did meet Tori. Later that evening, Sam found himself at the new Playa del Rey apartment Tori had just moved into with Sarah and Hannah. Tori, having already celebrated hard, was fast asleep on the couch. She briefly woke up mid-nap to call the foster puppies “potatoes” before passing back out—still unaware Sam existed. Fast forward a few days. Sam didn’t get her number that night but was determined to make an impression. His first move? A Facebook DM. No introductions, no compliments, no small talk. Just straight facts: “Did you know China is the leading producer of potatoes? And they contain a variety of vitamins and minerals.” A weird opener? Sure. But it worked. We talked non-stop for days while Tori was on a work trip. By the following Saturday, we finally hung out—and the rest was history. From that first night, it just clicked. Soon, we were inseparable. Over the past 6.5 years, we’ve built a life filled with lots of love, laughter, and never staying put. Together, we’ve been to countless concerts, celebrated friends’ weddings, taken unforgettable trips, and made an annual tradition of traveling to Hawaii. Now, we call Redondo Beach home, where we’re regulars at Tony’s—never passing up their famous Fire Chief Mai Tais. We’re beyond excited to share this moment with our family, friends, and loved ones who have been part of our journey. Surrounded by the people who mean the most to us, we’re ready to dance, toast, and dive into this next chapter—one filled with love, adventure, and maybe a few more Mai Tais!
