Our Wedding

There's an old homage many are likely very familiar with: Love will find you when you least expect it. This could not be more true for us. Like all good millennials, we met online (Hinge, feel free to sponsor us whenever you're ready!). It was Lindsey's umpteenth online date and Torrance's very first (that lucky guy). Though we're not sure either of us were exactly expecting to find our soul mates on a Tuesday night at Coopers Hawk, we had a truly perfect first date. We still laugh about how during our wine tasting. each of us separately confided in our server while the other left for the restroom letting her know just how great it was going (shoutout to Stephanie)! To go from giggling to talking about the importance of our relationships to God, we connected in a truly wonderful way building a foundation to continue to grow upon. Fast forward through tons of adventures and quiet calm alike, it was a beautiful year. It was a year full of hikes, car singing, TV bingeing, meeting each other's families and friends, trips big and small, and lots of driving between Cincinnati and Dayton, all while we kept looking at each other saying, “How is it possible for this to be so great?” All of this culminated to a trip we will never forget: Ireland 2025. Lindsey had truly fallen for the red heron of a cross country road trip later in the summer where she was so entirely sure the proposal would happen (plot twist: it was a fake trip). Little did she know that Torrance was plotting with her longtime best friend (We love you, Molly AKA M. Shiesty!) to make the most special proposal on the Cliffs of Moher. So on that unseasonably warm and sunny day (all the locals continued to reiterate weather like that has never happened), Torrance got down on one knee and asked the easiest question Lindsey had ever heard. We are endlessly grateful to have finally found each other and to know a love like this. We cannot wait to celebrate with our friends and family who have supported us both separately and together in April 2026 and to continue to build our life and family together in East Cincinnati. With our venue being in Franklin, Ohio, there are several wonderful areas for guests to stay in the greater Dayton and Cincinnati area. Some recommended areas to look at include but are not limited to: -Springboro, Mason, West Chester, Centerville --Due to an international conference taking place in the surrounding area, we have unfortunately been unable to secure a hotel block within a 30 minute radius of our venue. However, we have found no issue with finding individual hotel room reservations and private rentals such as Airbnb or VRBO. We highly recommend booking your stay as soon as possible because of this timing issue with reservations and apologize for the inconvenience. For guests looking to book flights into town, there are several airports within driving distance, with Dayton International Airport being the closest. --Dayton International Airport (32 mi)3600 Terminal Dr, Dayton, OH 45377--Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (50 mi)3087 Terminal Dr, Hebron, KY 41048--John Glenn Columbus International Airport (92 mi)4600 International Gateway, Columbus, OH 43219 While rideshare apps are available in the Franklin area, we recommend renting a car and/or carpooling as options may be limited.
