Once upon a time; there were 2 distant strangers who had no idea of each other! These 2 star crossed lovers (whose story doesn’t end in tragedy) although difference in age, share the same exact birthday- February 15th. How ironic, this is where their story begins! Let’s take a moment to introduce you, you have Devona, who the world knows as DJ, and Towan. One raised in South Carolina and the other in DC. You may ask how did these 2 lovers meet, well this author will tell you…. It was by fate, design, and destiny!

DJ had lived in the kingdom of Charlotte aka The Queen City for quite a spell before Towan ever even thought about habitating in this distant land. However, as fate, design, and destiny would have it; Towan was offered a magical experience in this new land in 2015. It wasn’t until 2016 until he would make the trek over some 80 miles to enter the Queen City!

Prior to relocating, Towan began to search for places, things, and people in the new land. Our star crossed lovers have no idea where, when, or how, they became friends in this Magical app called, Facebook! But again; as fate, design, and destiny would have it, they were connected in a friendship! The friendship between DJ and Towan started not as a traditional hang out, grab drinks, movies, etc., type of friendship. But just merely a “Happy birthday, Birthday twin” for years. In fact it wouldn’t be until 2022, until these lovers first actually meet!

Now, here’s the climax of the tale…. If you ask each of them they will both give you two different tales. So here is the tale by Towan’s account… Towan says, “ I don’t remember where or when we first became Facebook friends, I do distinctly remember one year, it snowed in Charlotte and he (DJ) posted a video of him in the hot tub in the back yard with the snow falling and I sent him a message to the effect of, “ohhhh, so I don’t get an invite?”, then after that it was the yearly happy birthday, birthday twin, and sometime after that, I tried to shoot my shot and he shot me down, but let him tell it, I never flirted with him!” So, fast forward to 2022, this part of the tale by Towan’s account, he believes has some similarities 😆. Towan says, one night in 2022 Dj posted a video sometime back on Twitter and I shot my shot at the person who posted it. Unbeknownst to me I would then receive a DN talking about, it’s me! When I say I was shocked, I was like not the lil cute Brien skin birthday twin boy. Eventually we decided to meet in person and it happened to be founders day, and he asked if I wanted to come over for a celebration. Well, I’m not one to turn down a good time, so I went over and every day since then, he been texting me non stop.

Here is the tale, by DJ’s account….
DJ says, “it was a cold winter night and I got a DM on Twitter, now known as X. It was Towan shooting his shot in the dark not knowing that he was following my account. When i called him out he was like “Nooo way” and it just happened to be his fraternity’s founder day. So invited him over to a little toast and night cap but he came and never left lol.

As you can tell, these 2 star cross lovers have varying accounts, but one thing that this author knows is that, their love was meant to be! Their love story takes its next journey on August 9th 2025. It’s no severe that if you are here reading this tale, you are inevitably apart of this story. As our lovers venture into the land of matrimony, we hope you wish them well, as they sail away into what know and will forever be “HAPPILY EVER AFTER”
