Our Wedding

Our Story

Every couple has their unique story of how they met, but we share an even bigger connection than either of us ever imagined. Our story began before our first official date, when Trevor was just a guest in the Hall household. We were initially introduced by Katelyn’s younger brother, Garrett, but it would be years before the two of us were finally able to connect. After some wild twists and turns of everyday life, we both happened to be single at the right place and the right time.&nbsp; About a month later, Trevor was invited over to the Hall house to watch the IU vs. Purdue basketball game, where it appeared to be a set up between him and Katelyn- it wasn’t. It was a big win for the Hoosiers… and the fuel Trevor needed to start a casual chat with Katelyn over text. Eventually, we set our first date where we planned to watch more IU basketball and get to know each other. Each of our sides of the story are very different, but one thing we could agree on was that this was meant to be. While we haven't been together as long as others, it was clear that this was destined to be a forever thing. One Saturday night, we made dinner reservations at Traders Point Creamery in Zionsville, where Trevor had a plan up his sleeve. Waiting for our table to be ready, we decided to roam the property and see some of the animals they had in the barn. Shortly after, Katelyn got cold and was ready to return to the restaurant. While she continued to haul it up a gravel drive in heeled boots, Trevor gave every bit of an effort to stop her. After faking a knee injury, Katelyn walked back over to Trevor, where he got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. At least that’s what we’re sticking with- neither of us have a clue on what was really said. Needless to say, she said yes! There is clearly more to our story that we haven’t shared, but this gives you a glimpse of how we were brought together. There is so much more to come as the story of Trevor and Katelyn is still being written. However, we were so beyond thrilled to set our wedding date for December of 2025, where we will be surrounded by our friends and family.&nbsp; 12/13/25 will hold so many memories, as it will be the official day we get to say “I do” to a new life as husband and wife!

Lindsay and I have been friends for over 10 years, when sorority life brought us together. We originally bonded over our love for margs on Cinco de Mayo… and (not) studying for finals. IU tailgates, late night walks across campus for Pizza X, Spring Break shenanigans, and learning to yell “Go Cubs Go!” at Wrigley Field with the BIGGEST Cubs fan I know- there’s never been a dull moment in our friendship. Even with her living in Chicago and far away from me, she’s always a phone call away when I need her. She taught me there are few things in this life that can’t be fixed with a run to Dunkin’ Donuts.. so I mildly blame her for my addiction. I can’t imagine where I’d be today without her, so if you don’t have a Lindsay in your life- get one! 

Lindsay Hill

Our friendship rewinds all the way back to FRESHMAN year at ZCHS. To be honest, I didn’t even like Logan when we first met. But in all fairness….she probably didn’t like me either. But it doesn’t matter, because as time passed, she became irreplaceable. From playing apple schmear in the neighborhood streets, building a slip n slide in her backyard, and lending her my cheerleading gear for football games, we’ve truly been through it all! We even threw the greatest Oaken Bucket high school graduation party! Even after going our separate ways for college, we always came back to where it all started. It was a dream to be able to stand by her side when she married the love of her life, now she gets to stand by me when I marry mine! 


Logan Sweeden

As cousins, Lillian and I share a very different connection from the others. While we have some unique memories between us, our true bond comes from navigating family shenanigans from time to time. For 15 years, I have had the pleasure of watching her become the beautiful person she is today. She has a quiet energy, but don’t let it fool you. There's still plenty of sass to go around. Family is everything, and I am so incredibly thankful to have her stand by my side on our wedding day! 



Lillian Murphy

Queen Bri. We too were brought together through IU sorority life, and it didn’t take long for us to know we were destined to be “Big” & “Little”.  Everyday was an adventure with you and sometimes I wish we could return back to simple times with $2 Tuesdays at our favorite places. KOK Breakfast Club, runs to Mcallister’s for sweet tea, and mutually bonding over our hatred of finite math, our memories are endless. Our friendship was ever more solidified when I was invited to join in on Friday night dinner with her entire family, where I was once blessed by her amazing Zayde and welcomed to their family. I’m not sure where I would be today without her!

Briana Rubin

Like many of the others, IU Greek life also brought us together, but instantly we started our own daily shenanigans with spontaneous adventures. Every Friday morning, I would pick her up from Briscoe Hall for our weekly coffee and bagel date at Bloomington Bagel Company, while blasting our 90s and 2000s hits. In case you didn’t know, Rachel DOES in fact know every word to “Baby Got Back” and we always made sure it was first on the playlist in the car.  Even miles and miles apart, our friendship never changes and we can simply just pick up where we left off!


Rachel Pikovsky

Yarden, It’s like Garden with a “Y”. Scratch that…just call her Lisa. While we met through mutual friends (& Greek life), we made so many memories together at IU! She is the most positive person and always sees the good in everyone. Yarden also taught me that life is better when you’re wearing sweatpants and spending Friday nights in on the couch…or out at Bear’s Ale House in Bloomington with some hairy bears and tater tots.Maryland is far, but we still managed to keep in touch all of these years, and I simply can’t imagine my wedding day without her!

Yarden Schneider

Kelly and I became friends through my first nursing job at St. Vincent. After watching me run for a confused granny to keep her from falling out of her bed, she brought me a diet coke and package of chocolate poptarts, knowing full well I wasn’t getting lunch. She later asked me, “we can be friends, right?” and we exchanged numbers to later blow off steam with tacos and margs. I knew our friendship was for forever when I once quoted Spongebob to her…and she quoted it back. Needless to say, my wedding day just wouldn’t be complete without the woman I still call my “work wife”!

Kelly Dickey

So here’s the tea….while we haven’t been friends as long as the others, Elise holds a very special place in my heart- no pun intended. We were brought together through working at the Heart & Vascular Hospital, and putting up with the everyday chaos and stress of being nurses. She once forced me to get coffee with her and be her friend, but now she is one of my closest friends and I can’t imagine not having her in my life! With our weekly coffee dates, girl dinners, and spontaneous adventures, she is one irreplaceable gal pal!

Brother of the bride. Still does not approve of this wedding. Likes to apologize for no reason.
