Lindsay and I have been friends for over 10 years, when sorority life brought us together. We originally bonded over our love for margs on Cinco de Mayo… and (not) studying for finals. IU tailgates, late night walks across campus for Pizza X, Spring Break shenanigans, and learning to yell “Go Cubs Go!” at Wrigley Field with the BIGGEST Cubs fan I know- there’s never been a dull moment in our friendship. Even with her living in Chicago and far away from me, she’s always a phone call away when I need her. She taught me there are few things in this life that can’t be fixed with a run to Dunkin’ Donuts.. so I mildly blame her for my addiction. I can’t imagine where I’d be today without her, so if you don’t have a Lindsay in your life- get one!

Our friendship rewinds all the way back to FRESHMAN year at ZCHS. To be honest, I didn’t even like Logan when we first met. But in all fairness….she probably didn’t like me either. But it doesn’t matter, because as time passed, she became irreplaceable. From playing apple schmear in the neighborhood streets, building a slip n slide in her backyard, and lending her my cheerleading gear for football games, we’ve truly been through it all! We even threw the greatest Oaken Bucket high school graduation party! Even after going our separate ways for college, we always came back to where it all started. It was a dream to be able to stand by her side when she married the love of her life, now she gets to stand by me when I marry mine!

As cousins, Lillian and I share a very different connection from the others. While we have some unique memories between us, our true bond comes from navigating family shenanigans from time to time. For 15 years, I have had the pleasure of watching her become the beautiful person she is today. She has a quiet energy, but don’t let it fool you. There's still plenty of sass to go around. Family is everything, and I am so incredibly thankful to have her stand by my side on our wedding day!

Queen Bri. We too were brought together through IU sorority life, and it didn’t take long for us to know we were destined to be “Big” & “Little”. Everyday was an adventure with you and sometimes I wish we could return back to simple times with $2 Tuesdays at our favorite places. KOK Breakfast Club, runs to Mcallister’s for sweet tea, and mutually bonding over our hatred of finite math, our memories are endless. Our friendship was ever more solidified when I was invited to join in on Friday night dinner with her entire family, where I was once blessed by her amazing Zayde and welcomed to their family. I’m not sure where I would be today without her!

Like many of the others, IU Greek life also brought us together, but instantly we started our own daily shenanigans with spontaneous adventures. Every Friday morning, I would pick her up from Briscoe Hall for our weekly coffee and bagel date at Bloomington Bagel Company, while blasting our 90s and 2000s hits. In case you didn’t know, Rachel DOES in fact know every word to “Baby Got Back” and we always made sure it was first on the playlist in the car. Even miles and miles apart, our friendship never changes and we can simply just pick up where we left off!

Yarden, It’s like Garden with a “Y”. Scratch that…just call her Lisa. While we met through mutual friends (& Greek life), we made so many memories together at IU! She is the most positive person and always sees the good in everyone. Yarden also taught me that life is better when you’re wearing sweatpants and spending Friday nights in on the couch…or out at Bear’s Ale House in Bloomington with some hairy bears and tater tots.Maryland is far, but we still managed to keep in touch all of these years, and I simply can’t imagine my wedding day without her!

Kelly and I became friends through my first nursing job at St. Vincent. After watching me run for a confused granny to keep her from falling out of her bed, she brought me a diet coke and package of chocolate poptarts, knowing full well I wasn’t getting lunch. She later asked me, “we can be friends, right?” and we exchanged numbers to later blow off steam with tacos and margs. I knew our friendship was for forever when I once quoted Spongebob to her…and she quoted it back. Needless to say, my wedding day just wouldn’t be complete without the woman I still call my “work wife”!

So here’s the tea….while we haven’t been friends as long as the others, Elise holds a very special place in my heart- no pun intended. We were brought together through working at the Heart & Vascular Hospital, and putting up with the everyday chaos and stress of being nurses. She once forced me to get coffee with her and be her friend, but now she is one of my closest friends and I can’t imagine not having her in my life! With our weekly coffee dates, girl dinners, and spontaneous adventures, she is one irreplaceable gal pal!

Brother of the bride. Still does not approve of this wedding. Likes to apologize for no reason.

Brother of the groom... Likes to break golf clubs. Claims to practice Hara Hachi Bu.

Another brother... Will knock you out for a waffle. Amateur gardener.

Likes cats, glasses of water, and wearing polos.

Our token army guy. Likes to feed gummy bears to goats. Favorite food is roadkill.

Will definitely ask to speak to the chef. Loves the zoo. Afraid of eggs.

Has never had his blood pressure taken. His wife is way better than him at sports.

Will never agree with you that something is spicy. Do NOT turn off his X-Box.
