Morgan Drew
Morgan Drew - Maid of Honor
Morgan and I have been inseparable since high school, where our shared passions for Halloween, movies, and music sparked our connection. Our friendship blossomed through countless sleepovers, where we would watch Say Yes to the Dress and dream about our own future weddings. We've created many wonderful memories together—from adventurous camping trips and sun-drenched vacations to relaxing spa days and cozy movie nights. It was an incredible honor for Justin and me to be part of Morgan's proposal, and we cherished standing by her and her husband Carter as maid of honor and best man at their wedding. Morgan and Carter were also present at our engagement and played a special role in orchestrating the proposal. I am truly proud to have Morgan as one of my closest friends and my maid of honor.
Carter Drew
Carter Drew - Best Man
I was introduced to Carter around the time when Trinh and I first started dating. Ever since we have shared many memories together. Whether it was watching a scary movie and ordering pizza on a rainy October day, camping out at Baker Lake in the snow, or enjoying the sun in Hawaii (or in Carter's case the shade), Carter and I created many memories together. He shared with me the details of wanting to get engaged to Morgan (who will be our maid of honor) at Disneyland. And funnily enough I did the same, sharing with him the details of my engagement plans and wanting to marry Trinh. Knowing how reliable he is, I even had the engagement ring shipped to Carter's address knowing that he would bring it with him when the time came. I am honored to call him my best man and I know I can count on him for anything.
Amanda Standerfer
Amanda Standerfer - Bridesmaid
From the very first moment I met Mandy, I knew she was someone special—her kindness, empathy, and unwavering support shine through in everything she does. She has been one of my closest friends and has stood by me as I navigated the challenges of nursing school. With a remarkable ability to put anyone at ease, Mandy has shared countless laughs and tears with me during our journey. I am beyond excited to have her as one of my bridesmaids.
Josh Gilpin
Josh Gilpin - Groomsman
My brother Josh has always been there for me ever since I was a baby. Being my brother, he has shaped my personal development and helped me when times were tough. He gave me a place to stay and got me a job when I was at my lowest. We may be six years apart, but that does not stop us from hanging out with each other on a regular basis. We also share many common hobbies, of which include fishing, which we got from our dad. And even though Josh has started a family of his own and lives over 1,000 miles away, he will always make time to hang out whenever possible.
Kristi Van der Wel
Kristi Van der Wel - Bridesmaid
Kristi and I have shared a bond that dates back to elementary school. No matter how many times life has taken us in different directions, our friendship has remained steadfast. Even after long periods apart, we can pick up right where we left off, as if no time has passed at all. Throughout the years, I’ve always known that Kristi would stand by my side as a bridesmaid on my wedding day. I am incredibly grateful to have her in my life, and I look forward to celebrating this special occasion together.
Michael Gincherman
Michael Gincherman - Groomsman
I got to know Michael through Trinh who used to work with him at the Nordstrom E-bar. Michael is silly, funny, and always making jokes, though he usually is the butt of the joke most of the time (sorry Mikey I had to). Besides his humor, Michael is one of the most loyal and dependable friends anyone could ever ask for. He will be anywhere he is needed at a moment's notice and I know I can depend on him in any type of situation. I am happy to call him one of my groomsmen.
Jene Enkhbold
Jene Enkhbold - Bridesmaid
I met Jene through her husband Tom, and from our very first encounter, I knew that we would become close friends. Jene is always up for spontaneous adventures—whether it's indulging in KBBQ, belting out our favorite songs at karaoke, or simply enjoying late-night conversations at our favorite bar. Justin and I were truly honored to be part of Jene and Tom’s intimate backyard wedding ceremony, celebrating their love and commitment. I am thrilled to have Jene join our wedding party and can't wait to create more wonderful memories together.
Thomas Bennett
Thomas Bennett - Groomsman
As another one of Trinh's old coworkers, Tom and I quickly became friends. We both share a love for video games and we learned our sense of humor quickly meshed with one another. Tom is now one of my closest friends, one who is always down for any sort of shenanigans or adventures, day or night, rain or shine, and even if he has work early the next morning. I couldn't be more excited for him to be a part of our big day.
Kaitlin Ferguson
Kaitlin Ferguson - Bridesmaid
Katie and I crossed paths in nursing school, and I can honestly say I wouldn’t have made it through without her. She is incredibly thoughtful, supportive, and always there when I need her. I’ll never forget the times she and Elizabeth surprised me with delicious meal boxes when I was feeling under the weather. We’ve shared countless fun-filled car rides, blasting Taylor Swift, and had many laughter-filled study sessions. Katie's unwavering support during my wedding planning journey has made it clear that having her as a bridesmaid is an absolute must. I am so grateful for her friendship and the positivity she brings into my life.
Garrett Marking
Garrett Marking - Groomsman
I got to know Garrett via some mutual friends of ours. At first, we primarily just played video games together but quickly realized that I worked close to where he lived. We met up over dinner and beer and have been friends since. Since leaving the Seattle area, Garrett and I have still had time to hang out regardless of the distance. And while I have not known Garrett as long as any of the other groomsman, he is someone I know I can count on.
Elizabeth Parke
Elizabeth Parke - Bridesmaid
I also met Elizabeth during nursing school, her kindness and generosity have always stood out to me. Despite her busy schedule, she consistently goes out of her way to help others, and her selflessness never ceases to amaze me. Elizabeth has played a significant role in my wedding planning, helping to organize our unforgettable wedding dress shopping trip, where we enjoyed a lovely weekend at a cabin by the lake—soaking up the sun, paddle boarding, and creating cherished memories together. Our adventures, from attending wedding expos to cozy movie nights, have been filled with laughter and joy. I couldn't have navigated nursing school without her support, and I can't wait to celebrate our special day with her as one of my bridesmaids.
Gabriel Contreras
Gabriel Contreras - Groomsman
Gabe and I slowly became acquainted through a mutual friend of ours while playing video games about 10 years ago. Since Gabe lives in Texas, we never expected a face-to-face meet up until an opportunity for him to come to Los Angeles came about. We eventually met up in person after a few years and enjoyed our time in LA eating good food and going to an internet cafe. We have met up again and again and each time has been special. While we do not have as much time to play games together, Gabe never hesitates to reach out even if it is to just say hello.
Emily Winsauer
Emily Winsauer - Officiant
When we decided that we wanted a smaller, more intimate wedding, we had to make a decision on who our officiant would be. We both knew that there was no one more perfect for the job than Emily. Now if you don't know who Emily is, she is a wonderful friend of ours who loves to spend her time exploring new places and enjoying the great outdoors. She is incredibly well spoken, always seeming to know the right words to say. We cannot imagine anyone else up there on that special day when we say "I do."
