We met the old-fashioned way — through mutual friends — on what turned out to be a blind date… at least for Kevin. I had already done a little social media recon. Kevin showed up late (in a Buc-ee’s t-shirt, no less), but from the moment we sat down, the conversation just clicked. We connected over shared values, similar goals, and the unexpected feeling that maybe this wasn’t just another first date. By the end of the night, we both knew this was something real.

Since then, we’ve built a life full of love, laughter, and a little chaos — of the best kind. From spontaneous trips to quiet nights at home, we've found joy in both the big moments and the everyday ones. We recently moved into our dream home, where we’re creating a space that’s warm, welcoming, and full of life.

At the heart of our relationship is a shared faith that has grounded us through every step. We've seen how God’s timing and grace have shaped our story — bringing us together when we least expected it, and guiding us as we’ve grown into the life we’re building now.

One of the most meaningful parts of our journey has been growing together as a family. Watching Kevin step into his role as a stepdad to Caroline has been a joy beyond words. And in his words, some of his favorite moments are seeing me as a mom — loving, strong, and surrounded by the people (and pets) I care about most.

And speaking of pets — our dogs Cooper (Kevin’s loyal best bud) and Luna (my spunky little shadow) are very much part of the family, keeping us laughing and reminding us daily what unconditional love looks like.

The proposal was simple, sweet, and perfectly us. Just the two of us on the beach — no big crowd, no cameras — when Kevin turned to me and said, “So… do you want to get married?” I didn’t hesitate. It was quiet and full of meaning — just like so many of the best moments in our story.

We’re so excited to celebrate this next chapter with the people who mean the most to us. From the ceremony to the party (and all the love in between), we can’t wait to soak in every second — laughing, dancing, and making memories with all of you.
