grace and jb have been close friends since 4th grade and walked through many seasons of life together. grace is kind, deeply thoughtful, and a wonderfully faithful friend. she has seen the inside of jb and tris' relationship and has encouraged their love like no one else! grace is someone who we want spurring us on toward jesus in our relationship until the end!!

Daniel and Tristan love talking, but their simple company is the best pillow talk when sharing a bed, which they usually do quite often thanks to Daniels other love (who he was set up on a blind date with by JB and TP and the Holy Spirit because wow Praise God). We are jealous for Daniel's presence of thoughtfulness, and love the way he describes things, how he thinks and talking, how he reads theory and gives perspective to our relationship.

Once while they were climbing the dawn wall of Yosemite's El Cap together, which Peyton said was super overhyped btw, Tristan looked up to see Peyton literally doing the hardest section without any feet on the wall. Pretty sick. We are beyond excited to have his commitment, his intentionality, and his sweet love in our lives forever. Literally you have no clue, I (tristan) am /thrilled/ and everyone agrees.

caroline and jb have laughed together since age 5, with summers at the lake, church camps, sleepovers, christmas parties, and so much more. caroline has a golden heart of service, can be friends with anyone and everyone, and has a way to make people feel really seen and special. we are so excited to have caroline's energy and humility to encourage us as we grow!

One time Ezra and Tristan explored West Simsbury, which is about 45 minutes outside Hartford CT. Kidding. West Simsbury doesn't exist. If by the time I die, I can look back and say that I lived like Ezra for even a bit of my life, I'm serious, I think I could die satisfied. There are few people that I am prouder of being friends with than Ezra. We are so really excited to have his voice of integrity, focus, and wisdom in our lives always, we love you seth!

samantha is loyal and kind and a grandma in the best way. she is strong and lives by her priorities in an incredibly admirable way. sam uses her time to fight for others and she is a faithful friend to both tristan and jb from their time at Wheaton. we are thankful to have samwolf to call us out, make us laugh, and keep us in a posture of learning!

There was once a night when MR mayo and MISSER trisser may have dropped a toilet from a college dormitory from like 7 stories up? Maybe. katie is cool and confident, a true ray of sunshine and fun. she is smart and supportive and invites you to see everything through a lens of justice and openness to others. katie is our california babe who has been best friends with both jb and tris for many years. we are beyond grateful to have katie's consistency and wisdom in our marriage and lives

I heard a rumor that Colbe and Tristan once surfed a storm swell so big they no joke had to bail while so far from shore it took 30 minutes to get in and almost died while catching rare waterborne diseases. Either way, I thought this was a boys trip? We so desire Colbes being-present-ness and the way he exists as a true living sacrifice to the Lord to be a part of our support and marriage. Read that again because no one does it better.

dara and jb lived together all four years of college at wheaton. dara is fiercely supportive--she can uplift you and hype you up like no one's business, and she can also sit with you in deep emotion with understanding and grace. dara is confident, fun, beautiful in all the ways, and one of the most incredible people we get to call a friend for life! (and she will always get the nub of the breadsticks)

older brother of the bride, mack is amazing example of stability, peacefulness, and fun. mack can be friends with anyone and he is always looking out for the good of his wife, his family, and his friends. he played 15 years of football without ever missing a practice and if this doesn't say something about his commitment to the things he loves, i don't know what does!

emily gates was jenny beth's freshman roommate at Wheaton and one of her closest friends since. emily is not only the bubbliest and craziest person you can know, she is also wise and deep and a connection-seeker. she knows who she is and she lives in a way that inspires others to follow suit. we are thankful for the love that exudes from this pal!!

younger brother of the bride, Bug is best known for his roast, his WILD running abilities, and smoooth moves on the dance floor. he is always the life of the party, and usually the "dad" of the party as well. Underneath all that, Bug is a strong man of God, seeking to do what is right on behalf of himself and others in everything. he is a deep and kind friend, and we are excited to have his Christian memes, wise thoughts, and fun spirit in our lives 4evaaaa! lyndi and jb are close friends from wheaton college! lyndi is incredibly strong and beautiful. she carries herself with grace and walks through hard things with openness and grit. not only can she beat everyone at spike ball, she can also carry on hours of intentional conversations through her awesome questions and listening ear. we are confident lyndi will be a sound voice and kind friend for the long haul

madison and jb were high school besties and have a deep sister connection! madison does not have a mean bone in her body, she is incredibly kind and supportive and positive and she truly makes her own and others' lives better by bringing joy and perspective into every situation. we are so thankful to have madison's view on life to influence us as we go!

When the beginning of college was tough for Tristan, dom welcomed him in for simple community and his true brotherhood is something tristan has grown more and more grateful. We are so excited for his example and wisdom to become more and more a foundation of our future.

aly and jb were in the same cabin at passage (the week long camp you go to before freshman year at wheaton to meet ppl and talk about the liberal arts) and have been friends ever since! aly is not only extremely fun and hopeful and an appreciator of life and beauty, she is also an extremely good listener, an empathetic friend, and a wise follower of jesus. she inspires faith and simplicity and goodness in others. we are beyond excited to have her voice on our special day and in our lives

You have probably heard that Elliot is the best at planning a weekend tour of a city, and it's 100% true, can confirm based on our DC art/tiki bar/coffee shop trips back in the day. We are so excited to have elliot's example of willingness to get involves, his support of others, and generosity be a continual example in our marriage.

Okay despite what you have probably heard, I have had some half decent interactions with Madeline, and heard from a friend of a friend that she made palatable waffles once? idk man. JOKES!! I first met Levi while he was doing direct heart massage (literally) and the shinner-y legends only grew from there. Though he was recruited by the Baltimore Orioles to throw baseballs, he learnt from Annie that he was already a pitcher, in fact, more accurately, a tall glass of water, so he turned them down. We are so excited to have Levi’s focused submission to the Gospel (and annies!!) be an example to us in our marriage and to share many a mild to no spiced daves hot chicken as neighbors.
