Q + A

Why Las Vegas?

In September of 2023, Ty proposed to Alyssa while in Las Vegas! Therefore this place hold a very sweet spot in our hearts, and we wish to share that feeling with our loved ones.

When?

Our wedding date is Saturday October 4th, 2025!

Where is the venue?

Our wedding venue is called "The Grove - Las Vegas". It's a beautiful and intimate space that transports you out of the classic Vegas wedding feel, while being only 25 minutes from the strip!

Rehearsal dinner?

We will NOT be having a rehearsal dinner before our wedding. This will allow our guests more time to enjoy their Vegas experience with less commitments.

How can I support without going to Vegas?

We TOTALLY understand that spending the time and money to go to Vegas is not in the cards for everyone! We will be holding a separate wedding party after the wedding on Friday October 24th at Bonnet Springs Park in Lakeland (time TBD). So feel free to let us know you will not be able to attend the wedding, yet will be looking forward to the wedding party!

Attire?

IT'S VEGAS BABY! Time to dress to impress in that outfit you've always questioned, "Is this a little too much for a night out?". We would love to see a variety of colors, animal print, sequins and tassels. All's we ask is please, no white dresses or pant suits ladies and gentlemen... That being said, ideally dress formal for this event (dress, button up, blouse, suit, etc).

Arrival time?

Please arrive between 2:30pm and 2:50pm. The ceremony will promptly begin at 3pm, so please find your seat before then. Unfortunately, the grove does not allow guests to arrive early to the venue. We understand this is a slim time slot in a city that most of you may be unfamiliar with, so please just allow additional time for travel and navigation.

Open bar?

Yes! No need to bring money for drinks unless you'd like shots ($10 CASH ONLY, PER SHOT), or would like to tip your bartender. However, rest assured that we will make sure they are definitely taken care of for the night! If there is a certain bottle you would like to have there to enjoy, please let us know prior so we can try to make sure it's there! - |DRAFT BEER| Bud Light, Coors Light, Corona Premier, Sierra Nevada |WINE| Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Merlot, White Zinfandel, Wycliff Champagne |LIQUOR| Smirnoff Vodka, Seagrams Gin, Jose Cuervo, Bacardi Rum, Jack Daniels, Captain Morgan, Peach Schnapps, Seagrams 7, Malibu Rum, J.B. Scotch -

Timeline of the night?

In the home tab, you will find a more detailed timeline of the night. Briefly, the series of events will go as followed. GUESTS ARRIVE 2:30pm to 2:50pm <> CEREMONY 3pm to 3:30pm <> COCKTAIL HOUR & BRIEF FAMILY PHOTOS 3:30pm to 4:30pm <> DINNER 4:30pm to be 5:30pm <> RECEPTION 5:30pm to 8pm

Gifts?

We ask that none of our guests bring gifts, specifically for travel purposes. Please either bring your gift to the wedding party held at BSP or we would be happy to make time after the wedding to receive it!

Plus one?

If you were invited by us with one single name on your save the date/invitation, then we have allotted for one additional plus one for you to bring to accompany you.

Parking and transportation?

There is a guest parking lot on property, with a short walking distance. For this night, we suggest that our guests plan for an Uber/Lyft service to ensure safety. Unfortunately, as of right now we do not have a provided transportation option. If this changes, we will update our guests!

Weather?

God willing, this time of year in Vegas is near-perfect weather. With the average high of 81 and an average low of 58. We do suggest to double check the weather for Las Vegas the week prior to your trip, to ensure compatible attire. Vegas tends to have dry climate, so be sure to bring your lotion and lip balm. Remember to hydrate!
