Please RSVP by May 1st, 2024. If we do not hear from you by May 1st, we will assume you will not be able to attend.

If you are sick, test positive for or come into contact with someone with any contagious illness, such as Covid-19, the Flu, or even the common cold, we kindly ask that you refrain from attending any of the wedding events if you are within the contagious period. Health and safety are extremely important to the Bride and Groom, particularly since the guest lists includes individuals ranging in age from 90 to 105 and their health is imperative. Join us for our 30-minute outdoor ceremony overlooking Lake St. Clair! Please arrive in time to be seated by 11:45 a.m. We are inviting a select number of children. If your child is invited, a comfy bus will be available for parents with restless little ones to ensure a serene ceremony. Opt for this option by contacting Wendy Bradley at 517-881-9609.

Come aboard the Ovation Yacht for a 4-hour cruise reception! Please note the following:

1. Seating on the 1st deck is reserved for immediate family and guests with mobility issues. There is limited seating available here. Open seating is available on the bow (outside) of the 1st deck, as well as on the 2nd and 3rd decks. Please refer to the Wedding Programs distributed by our ushers to find your assigned dinner seating. Guests are welcome to move between decks to enjoy different views and areas throughout the reception.

2. GUESTS MUST BE PREPARED TO PRESENT AN I.D. for the complimentary bar.

3. We are inviting a select number of children. If your child is invited, please note, for safety and the adult atmosphere, children should be accompanied by adults.

4. Since the yacht has air conditioning and is on the water, you may want to bring a sweater, wear comfortable shoes, and consider your well-being, especially regarding health concerns or steep steps.

5. Smoking Regulations: Smoking and vaping are prohibited on the yacht, including inside and outside areas. It is important to note that the use of marijuana or any illegal substances on board is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate termination of the charter. In such an event, it's safe to say that the BRIDE and GROOM will not be pleased.😍

6. If you cannot make the yacht cruise, there will be an After Glow party at the host hotel later in the evening.

The celebration continues at our After Glow party in the Detroit Motor City Casino Hotel's 16th-floor Amnesia Lounge! Following the ceremony and cruise reception, we invite you to savor light appetizers as you enjoy music, great company, and a stunning city skyline. Please note that a cash bar will be available to complement your evening.

Our host hotel is the Detroit Motor City Casino Hotel. A significant number of rooms have already been reserved. If you have a reservation, expect a text/email message with your confirmation # and instructions on how to finalize your booking with a credit card.

If, for any reason, you have decided to stay at another hotel and no longer require your reserved room, we kindly request that you notify Wendy Bradley at 517-881-9609 as soon as possible. This allows us to make your room available to guests on our waiting list who are eager to stay at the host hotel. Your prompt notification is appreciated.

Wedding Attire (Ceremony & Reception): Black Yacht Theme - The Bride and Groom would love for all guests to coordinate with their wedding colors. Therefore, we are asking everyone to please wear BLACK to the ceremony and yacht reception, embracing the semi-formal, light, and breathable yacht theme.

While we kindly request that the predominant color of your outfit is BLACK, you are welcome to wear NON-BLACK accessories such as jewelry, shoes, dress/clothes trimmings & designs, ties, men's dress shirts, nail designs, etc.

Also, please reserve WHITE for the Bride and Groom on their special day. However, similar to the guidance for BLACK attire, WHITE can be incorporated as accessories, such as jewelry, shoes, dress/clothes trimmings/designs, ties, men's dress shirts, nail designs, etc., but please not as the main portion of your outfit. You may want to bring a sweater for the air-conditioned yacht interior.

Wedding Attire (After Glow): No specific attire! Feel free to change clothing after the Yacht Cruise and come dressed to have fun and dance! Please continue to reserve "WHITE" for the Bride and Groom, however accessories (such as jewelry, shoes, dress/clothes trimmings/designs, ties, men's dress shirts, nail designs, etc.) can be WHITE.
