Our journey together began back in 2015 when we were both students at CMU. Though we shared mutual friends and crossed paths occasionally as Resident Assistants, it wasn't until fate intervened that our story truly unfolded. Kevin attended one of Tyler's productions, "Humanity," and introduced himself to Tyler after the show. We kept in touch, but ultimately, we both graduated and embarked on separate paths.

As life led us in different directions—Tyler to Chicago for graduate school and Kevin on his way to graduate school in Denver—we stayed connected from a distance. A dinner together when Kevin visited Chicago left us with a special feeling, but we said our goodbyes with uncertainty about what lay ahead.

Three years passed, and at the onset of the pandemic, Tyler serendipitously stumbled upon a heartwarming picture of Kevin hugging his mom on Instagram. Inspired by the warmth of the moment, Tyler reached out with a simple "how are you?" message. From that moment, our relationship began to blossom, and we discovered that love can truly find its way, even in the most unexpected times.

Kevin's move from Denver to California marked the next step in our journey together. We embraced our careers and took every opportunity to explore our relationship and make memories that would last a lifetime.

After about a year of hard work and careful planning, we decided to embark on a truly epic adventure—five months of traveling the world. From July 2022 to November 2022, we set off on an unforgettable journey that took us to 12 incredible countries: Italy, Vatican City, Monaco, France, England, Scotland, Ireland, Spain, Greece, United Arab Emirates, Singapore, and Australia. Every moment on our travels deepened our bond and enriched our love story.

Our journey reached a significant milestone on August 11, 2023, when Kevin proposed in Jamaica at the Sandals Ochi Resort with a romantic private dinner on the beach. We originally planned our Sandals Jamaica trip for 2020 but had to reschedule three times due to the pandemic and other conflicts. Little did we know in 2020 that we were planning our proposal trip.

Our love story has been a remarkable journey of serendipitous meetings, long-distance connections, and unforgettable experiences. We are thrilled to continue writing the chapters of our story as we embark on this new adventure of marriage, knowing that the best is yet to come.
