Our Wedding

In typical zellinial fashion Tyler and Alyssa met on you guessed it... a dating site. Tyler and Alyssa matched on bumble shortly after Alyssa moved to South Dakota to get her Master's degree. Alyssa remembers matching with Tyler while not really looking and Tyler remembers extending the connection when Alyssa didn't respond right away. The couples first date was at Ruby Tuesday. They sat at the bar and talked so much they didn't even touch their food. The waitress asked if there was a problem with their meals and they both just replied "No". Alyssa and Tyler went on somewhere near 5 dates in the first 7 days of knowing each other before Tyler asked Alyssa to be his girlfriend she said yes and the rest is history.

The Beginning

Alyssa has always been a huge fan of football and an even bigger fan of the New Orleans Saints. In 2022 Alyssa and Tyler took a trip to New Orleans to cross off one of Alyssa's bucket list items - a football game at the Superdome. They watched the Saints beat the Seahawks and spent 7 days in the Big Easy enjoying themselves. The following year the Saints were set to face off against the Chicago Bears so Alyssa thought as a birthday gift to her brother she would pay for his airfare down to New Orleans to see the game. Little did she know Tyler had something bigger planned for the trip than just the football game this time. Walking into the stadium under the watchful eye of former owner of the Saints Tom Benson's statue Tyler proposed to Alyssa and she said yes- putting the ring on the wrong finger and all. Tanner captured the whole thing on video after pretending to set them up for a picture. Tyler remembers telling everyone the two knew what was happening on this trip and Alyssa remembers having not the slightest idea and being caught 100% by surprise.

The Engagement

The couple has gone on many adventures so far but are so excited to start their biggest adventure with all of you. Each and every one of you is special to the bride and groom and they cannot wait to see you and celebrate their marriage with you!

I met Marissa in high school in the weight room during a powerlifting practice and the rest is history. Marissa has been one of if not my closest friend since day one. We get credit for bringing together the friendship of Matt and Dan, but more importantly we get credit for the dynamic duo of Bren and Lor. If you see them out and about ask them about that one trip to Texas!

Tyler and Steven met in elementary school and have been best friends since.

I met Kristine freshman year of college at MSU Mankato.  Kristine should be given full credit for helping me survive college. From wanting to swap roommates, to late night pancake parties, and now marriage I can't imagine my life without her.

Tyler and Caleb met through work and have taken some  trips together, go go karting together, and play video games together.

You can't pick your family, but you can pick your friends. I am lucky enough to have Amanda as both a cousin and a lifelong best friend. It took us awhile as kids to decide to be friends but once we realized how cool we were as 7-year-olds it was over for our parents. Cue the "Can I go to Amanda's or Can Amanda stay the night?!" Our parents were doomed...

Carlton and Tyler also met through work. Carlton spends a lot of time with the Fullmer family for holidays. Carlton is considered Tyler’s “brother from another mother”.

Kalee is Tyler's sister. Tyler and Kalee have always been close while growing up and this continued into their adult lives. Currently we are all neighbors out at Hart Ranch.

Tanner is Alyssa's brother and was with Alyssa and Tyler when they got engaged in New Orleans. Tanner captured the video of the engagement and was super sneaky. Alyssa had no idea.

Sadie is the daughter of two of Alyssa’s best friends - Kristine and Drew and we are so thrilled to have her hang out with us on our wedding day. 🤍

Hart Ranch is our home and has a variety of Cabins and RV sites available for the wedding. Cabins and sites are on a first come first served basis. Please check rates on the Hart Ranch website! The rooms will be held until 9/20/2025 after 9/20 you can call to see if a cabin is available but they may be booked by other Hart Ranch members starting 9/21/2025. Payment is due 7 days before the wedding or 10/5/2025. Changes can also be made pending availability until 10/5/2025. We suggest booking for the weekend as soon as possible and making changes to add or remove days as the wedding gets closer. Approximate Rooms Currently Available: 2 Anderson Lodge Cabins 4 Colt II Cabins RV Sites also available upon request Our wedding is during off peak season so please note the pool, restaurant, and convenience store on property may be closed for the season.

The Sweetgrass Inn is a Bed and Breakfast style place to stay just up the road from Hart Ranch. We do not have a block at the Sweetgrass Inn but this would be another option for your stay in Rapid City!

Travel

Naked winery is one of our favorite wineries in the Black Hills. Burlesque is one of Alyssa's favorite wines.

If you happen to be free one of the times The Good stuffed is out and about be sure to catch them for a bite! Tyler and Alyssa both recommend the burger with all the fixings and upgrade to cheese curds with ranch for your side. The owners get their cheese curds from Ellsworth, WI BEST curds in South Dakota. Check their Facebook for locations throughout the week.

You’re in for a treat if you stop by the Alpine Inn. The Alpine Inn offers a limited menu of Bacon Wrapped Filet Mignons or a german dish called Kaes Spaetzle Primavera. Open Monday-Saturday 11-2:30 for lunch and 5-9 for dinner if the line is long dont worry it moves quickly! They are cash or check only but have an ATM on site so plan ahead!

Best place in town to drink a beer and watch sports. Tyler recommends the steak tips with fries and cheese sauce Alyssa recommends the teriyaki chicken wrap with ranch and tots

Tyler and I love visiting Bear Country to see the bears. Please stay in your vehicles as you drive through... They are bears after all.
