We are so excited that you're considering exploring Fort Worth! Here are some of Tyler and Alli's favorite spots in DFW.
Enjoy a walk through the historic district, take in the iconic (and free) daily cattle drive, and experience a true taste of Texas culture. For those looking to embrace Western style, Cavender’s and The Best Hat Store offer a wide selection of cowboy hats and boots. In the evening, consider a visit to Billy Bob’s Texas—known as the world’s largest honky tonk—for live music and dancing.
This is a special place to us because it's where we got engaged! The Fort Worth Botanical Garden is a beautiful spot to stroll, with seasonal blooms, peaceful walking paths, and dedicated areas for children to explore. Even in the winter months, the grounds remain lovely and worth a visit.
Located in the heart of downtown Fort Worth, Sundance Square is a lively area filled with shops, restaurants, and cultural attractions. It’s a great place for a stroll, whether you're grabbing coffee at Sons of Liberty, enjoying dinner at Del Frisco’s Grille or Simply Fondue, or taking in a performance at Bass Hall. It’s also home to Texas A&M School of Law—where Alli attends law school!
Enjoy a movie under the stars with stunning city skyline views, cozy seating, and great food!
Right near Alli’s apartment, Clearfork has tons of great shopping and restaurants, plus a cute farmer’s market on Saturday mornings. We especially love The Press Café because it’s right on the Trinity Trail!
Trinity Trail is one of our favorite ways to enjoy the city. It stretches for 100 miles through Fort Worth, with lots of places to jump in for a walk or bike ride. It goes right by The Shops at Clearfork and has some of the best views of the city and surrounding neighborhoods.

For breakfast and brunch, we love starting the day at The Press Café, known for its fresh, locally sourced ingredients and excellent coffee. Another cozy favorite is Yogi’s, serving up classic breakfast and brunch dishes that feel like home.
If you’re craving pancakes with a Southern twist, Ol’ South Pancake House is a must-visit, and for a lively spot with creative breakfast classics, or Snooze, an A.M. Eatery is always a great choice.
When it comes to lunch, Yogi’s is perfect for a casual midday meal, but if you want something a little different, check out Hawaiian Bros for fresh island-inspired bowls or Salsa Limon for vibrant Mexican flavors. For healthier options with plenty of vegetarian dishes, Flower Child never disappoints.
For dinner, you can’t go wrong with Chuy’s, where the Tex-Mex favorites come with a fun and laid-back vibe. For a more upscale experience, Hudson House offers warm and inviting American fare. If you’re in the mood for creative small plates and cocktails, HG Supply Co. is a trendy spot worth trying. And seafood lovers will want to make a stop at Coco Shrimp, which serves fresh, flavorful dishes in a relaxed atmosphere.
