We’re so excited to celebrate with you this December! Since we know many of our guests will be flying in from Florida, here are a few travel hacks to help you save money and arrive with ease:

If you're flying from Florida, you have a few options:

RSW (Fort Myers) – closest to Naples/Bonita Springs/Fort Myers, super convenient, but often more expensive.

FLL (Fort Lauderdale), MIA (Miami), or TPA (Tampa) – farther drives, but typically cheaper flights with more airline options.

Book early: The sweet spot is usually 1–3 months before departure.

Fly midweek: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday are often the cheapest days to fly.

Set price alerts using Google Flights, Kayak, or Hopper to snag the best deals as they drop.

Book flights on a Sunday, when airlines often release deals.

Consider “positioning flights” – flying from a cheaper airport nearby and booking your own connection separately can sometimes save big.

If you're looking for a more budget-friendly or unique car rental option, try Turo – it’s like Airbnb for cars.

December typically brings cool, crisp weather with daytime highs in the 50s and chilly evenings that can dip into the 30s. Light rain is always a possibility, so we recommend packing layers and keeping an umbrella handy, just in case.

Since the wedding falls just days before Christmas, airports like DFW and Love Field will be busier than usual—be sure to arrive early for your flight and consider traveling light to avoid long baggage lines.

On the roads, traffic tends to pick up in the afternoons and near shopping areas, so allow for extra time when navigating to and from the venue, especially around rush hour. With the sunset around 5:30 PM, the city starts to wind down early, so plan accordingly if you’re hoping to explore or snap photos before the ceremony.

Rideshare: Uber, Lyft, and Alto all pick up from designated ride-app zones.

Rental Cars: Free shuttle to the Rental Car Center is available from every terminal. Major companies like Enterprise, Hertz, Avis, and Budget operate here.

Taxis: Taxi stands are available at each terminal; fares to central Dallas typically range from $45–$60.

DART Rail (Public Transit): Take the Orange Line from DFW to downtown Dallas (approx. 50 minutes).

Budget-friendly but less ideal with heavy luggage or late-night arrivals.

Hotel Shuttles: Some hotels offer free airport pickup—check with your accommodation.

Rideshare: Uber, Lyft, and Alto all operate with designated pick-up areas just outside baggage claim.

Rental Cars: On-site at the airport; walk-up access just across from the terminal.

Taxis: Taxi service is readily available; rides to downtown Dallas usually cost around $25–$35.

DART Bus + Rail: Bus Route 524 connects to the Orange and Green Lines at Inwood/Love Field Station. This option is great for budget travelers with light bags.

Hotel Shuttles: Select hotels nearby provide shuttle service (be sure to ask when booking!)
