Tyler and Marisa met the summer of 2021 through work where Marisa was quickly added to his group chat of work friends. Their friendship grew over their shared love for The Office and Spongebob (via LOTS of gifs) and deepened when they each became the proud parent of a stinky pig (puppy sisters from a mutual friend).
It wasn't until NYE 2022/2023 when they finally started getting the more than friends feelings. Then in February, Tyler (who was then living in La Grande) convinced Marisa he was going to be in town visiting family for a weekend and asked to meet up. Little did Marisa know, Tyler was planning on driving nearly 6 hours just to go on a date with her! The date included drinks at the local bar close to Marisa's downtown apartment and some friendly barcade games. For the following year, each month Tyler would drive 6 hours one-way to spend an extended weekend with Marisa where they spent hours exploring Eugene with their pigs and introduced each other to more of their favorite movies/TV shows.
Then... Las Vegas! What happens there, doesn't always stay there. They returned with matching tattoos and a bun in the oven! Marriage and kiddos were part of their plans anyways and Baby Tierce just couldn’t wait to join the fam. Over the course of the pregnancy, Tyler moved in with Marisa full-time, proposed over a romantic walk along the Newport beach at sunset, and they stumbled upon a cute little starter home where they welcomed the CUTEST baby in the entire world
