Driving home from NY one winter day in December 2022, Urska was cracking up in the back seat and the driver kept asking "Who are you laughing at?" This was the day Urska and Josh began messaging one another after "swiping right!" A week later, they decided to meet. Urska's sisters were over that day hyping her up to meet a perfectly good stranger. Little did they know, it was the perfectly good start to a lifetime of happiness with Josh.

Brunch was at noon at Sol in Downtown Willoughby. All of a sudden, the staff was cleaning up to close. Josh and Urska looked at each other and realized they'd been talking for nearly 4 hours!

You see, God has perfect timing. Those that are disciplined and patient will wait on that exact perfect timing and this is how Urska and Josh's love unfolded. About a month after knowing each other they together decided February 14th would be their dating anniversary. Josh poured his heart out and professed his love. As did Urska in return, with a heart full of joy.

The two quickly began sharing stories and experiences-- mixing in playfulness and laughter wherever they could. Wednesdays quickly became their official "date night". This usually meant Urska was cooking dinner to impress Josh. It wasn't long until she didn't feel the need to "impress Josh" and her house wasn't as clean as it was in the first few months! They would pray before meals and again share their love and joy with one another.

Josh accepted Urska's longing to travel and they booked a flight to Texas to visit a dear friend of Josh's in May. Day after day, they let each other into the other's world a little more by meeting friends, parents, family, enjoying holidays together, etc.

As time went on, their love for one another grew deeper. October 23, 2024 Josh took Urska on a "walk" at Chapin Forest. The couple happily walked and talked and at the scenic overlook, Josh got down on one knee and asked Urska to be his wife. Of course she said yes!

They are both incredibly excited to start doing life together and wouldn't mind if time slowed down just a tad while they enjoy their engagement!
