The church is about 15 minutes from downtown. In Ohio City you can go to Market Garden Brewery, Goldhorn Brewery in Cleveland, or somewhere in the Flats District.

Between the church and the reception, there are restaurants along Ohio State Route 2 or Interstate I-90 in Willoughby, Mentor, Concord. Concord has a Paninis, Pub Frato, Red Hawk Grille which are recommended.

Within 10 minutes from the reception area are many wineries including Ferrante, Debonne, Grand River, Laurentia, Cask 307. Those are the recommended places to stop for lunch or a glass of wine- look up their hours in advance.

15 minutes west of the church are the Cleveland Cultural Gardens public park with gorgeous Italian and Slovenian gardens.

Visit the Cleveland Script Sign at Edgewater Park with a backdrop of Lake Erie.

If you're looking for a quick hike, head to North Chagrin Reservation to see Squires Castle in Willoughby, or Chapin Forest in Kirtland, or Chagrin River Park, Reeves Road, just off Lost Nation Road in Willoughby.

Great Lakes Mall in Mentor is a great place for shopping and has a food court.

Downtown Willoughby District has nice coffee shops and boutiques / restaurants.
