Wanted to provide a short list of some must-haves for the weekend, especially for the folks that have never been to Viamede or another cottage resort.

- swimsuit & extra towel (for the indoor pool, sauna, steam room)

- sunscreen

- bug spray

- comfy walking shoes (the resort is quite large with lots of different terrain and trails)

- gym clothes/clothes you can "mess up" (there is a gym and a small animal farm on site)

- snacks & drinks for your room/cottage (this is not staffed like a hotel that you can call room service 24/7 or have a stocked mini fridge, so prepare for that!)

- alcohol of your choice (the bar is only available during cocktail hour & the wedding reception, so you are able to bring your own alcohol, especially for the welcome dinner & campfire afterwards!)

*If you have any alcohol at home you're looking to offload, feel free to bring it along, there's bound to be someone that will drink it!

- wedding outfit - duh!

- clothes for layering (temps will be unpredictable from morning to evening, so prep accordingly!)

- Epipen, any meds or Over-the-counters (nearest hospital is a good 45 minute drive; nearest store is a good 20 minute drive and VERY minimal!)

- CASH - there is no ATM on site anywhere, and be sure to tip your bartenders! ;)
