In early 2019, Val was introduced to Sam after being long-term friends with his brother, Jake. Sam and Val instantly knew they would very quickly be the best of friends. After 6 months of adventures and memories, walking on the boardwalk in Ocean City, New Jersey, Val was saying yes to being Sam’s girlfriend. Quickly, their love grew and multiplied by the day.

In June of 2022, Sam and Val moved into their first apartment, bringing their first cat with them, Happy and their two beta fish, Bear and Mars. Soon there after, Val’s love for animals was fueled yet again, and she got a hamster named Toffee. Then a couple of months later, they adopted their newest kitty addition, Sly.

August 28th, 2022, after a weekend trip to where it all began, Sam had worked with Val’s mom to coordinate a beautiful proposal set up in their home. When Val entered the door after their weekend getaway, Sam was surely popping the question. It felt like a dream!

This is a day they will never forget along with many memories to come. September 6th, 2024, they will marry and become nothing short of husband and wife.

And so the next chapter begins!
