We've taken multiple trips together to the island and we stayed at Opal Sands our first visit here! We love the laidback island atmosphere, the abundance of beach bars, amazing restaurants, unique activities (tiki boats and pirate ships!), and beautiful sunsets every night. We love spending time both exploring and relaxing here and can't wait to share it with all of you!

While we love your little ones and want our wedding to be a fun family vacation, we also want our ceremony to be distraction-free. We know for small children this is sometimes challenging, so we will be providing childcare in the resort for children UNDER AGE 5 from 4:30-6:30 during the ceremony and cocktail hour! Children are welcome to re-join the party in the ballroom at dinner time for the reception and are also welcome to come to all additional events on Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday! Regarding children at dinner, there will be a children's menu option for children 12 & UNDER! Please reach out to us if you have any questions, thanks!

We would love for everyone to have fun and feel confident getting dressed for our celebration! We LOVE bright colors, tropical prints, fun pants, Tommy Bahama vibes. For this occasion, we DON'T love men in shorts and sandals -- even though we're near the beach, no men's knees or toes please. Our color palette is below if you'd like to see the colors we're decorating with! There is absolutely NO NEED to match these colors -- wear what you feel amazing in, we just wanted to give an idea of the fun shades we're working with!
