Dustin and Vanessa met the modern way - swiping right on Hinge! They first met in person on February 21st, 2020 for a sushi lunch date, and instantly felt sparks. Shortly after meeting, the pandemic hit, and they knew immediately that they wanted to see where the relationship would go in the face of being on lockdown.

While everything else around them was shut down, Dustin opened up a world of adventure for Vanessa, and they bonded over their shared love of exploring Arizona’s beauty. They went hiking, camping, rock climbing, and so much more. Having these beautiful experiences together in nature never stopped, and has become a staple in their relationship and love for each other. Dustin and Vanessa have made lifelong friends together and have become each other's family, their home. They now have 2 dogs together and are still seizing every opportunity to adventure.

On February 23rd, 2023 Dustin planned the most meaningful surprise for the third anniversary of their relationship. As she paged through her annual anniversary gift of that years’ photo album, they shared their favorite memories of the year, and lots of laughs. On the very last page was a picture of an engagement ring, and was captioned “I want to spend the rest of my life living our adventure.” He got down on one knee with the ring, and asked her to marry him. She said YES, and the couple are very excited to embark on their next big adventure - marriage!

Dustin and Vanessa are very excited to celebrate their love and relationship with all of you present. They are so grateful to have such wonderful family and friends that are there for them in times of need and joy.
