Our Wedding

Vanessa and Grant first met at Texas A&amp;M in the Fall of 2017, just a brief and ordinary moment. Their first real conversation happened the following spring while eating Chick-Fil-A, and that's when they discovered their connection was instant. From that day on, they often ate sushi together, constantly texted, and found they could talk about anything and everything under the sun. As months turned into years, Grant realized that Vanessa was his favorite part of every day, his oasis, and his best friend. Vanessa, in her own time, looked at the depth of their friendship, at all the moments they had shared, and realized she couldn’t imagine a life without him. What began as friendship had grown into something timeless. In October of 2020, amidst the bittersweet final months of her senior year and his master’s program, they decided to take the leap. Over the next two years, they dated long distance, traveled the world, and dreamt of a home together. When the time was right, Grant followed his heart to Houston, closing the distance once and for all. Then in October 2024 in the sun-soaked beauty of Seville, Spain, Grant asked Vanessa to be his forever ...and she said Hill Yes! What began as a chance meeting grew into a love story that spanned cities, continents, and years—a story still unfolding, full of wonder, adventure, and a love that feels like it was always meant to be.

We encourage our guests to reserve a room in our hotel block Friday and Saturday night (3/20-21), but the rate is good for an entire week! Let him know what dates you would like to stay, and payment will be collected on arrival. We are required to book 30 rooms (either Junior, Grand Junior, or Master Suite), and website bookings do not apply, so please ensure to book with Cesar directly. Thank you!

We absolutely recommend lunch at La Mara for some of the best ceviche and aguachile tostadas we have ever tasted. For more upscale options, Campomar has great shrimp and seafood, River Cafe has a delicious pesto salmon, and La Madalena has great steak, salmon, and tacos.&nbsp;
