PASSPORTS
Don't forget your passport ! Please double check to make sure your passport does not expire before 2026 as you will not be permitted to travel within 6 months remaining of an expiration date. Passports can take up to 3 months to arrive so please be sure to update or apply for a passport ASAP!
What is the WEDDING DAY dress code?
We would love to see our family and friends get dressed up with us ! We are asking our guests to dress in beach formal attire. Please see the "Dress Code" section of this site for further details. We can't wait to celebrate with you all in style!
For Gentlemen: Beach formal means no shorts, short sleeves, or open toed shoes for men. Button-down shirts and slacks required. Linen suits/suit jackets/blazers are acceptable.
For Ladies: We ask that you wear a mid-length or full-length dress. Since the ceremony will take place on the beach, there will be a designated area to leave your shoes during that time. The cocktail hour & reception will be held on a combination of tile and turf, so please keep that in mind when choosing footwear.
Are kids allowed?
We LOVE your little ones! However, due to limited space, we have decided to keep our wedding day an adults only event with exception of immediate family. We understand traveling without your child(ren) may be difficult, so we've opted for a room block at a hotel that is kid-friendly . Child care is your responsibility during the night of the wedding. Please feel free to bring any family members you wish to help with childcare during wedding festivities.

Can I bring a guest?
Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one they will appear on your invite as well as when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding!
Can I take pictures during the ceremony?
We are having an "unplugged" ceremony, which means no photos! We ask all guests to follow this and be completely present during our special time. Our hired professionals will be doing the photo taking during that time. Feel free to take all the photos you like after the ceremony is complete!
Do I need to rent a car?
No, you do not need to rent a car to get around Aruba. It is extremely easy to get a taxi from your hotel to your desired destination. Most restaurants will also call you a taxi back to the hotel if needed. The Hyatt is walking distance from the downtown area where you can find plenty of food and shopping.
If you wish to explore Aruba further than the resort and downtown area, feel free to rent a car !
