Our Wedding

ROOM BLOCK 

The Hyatt Regency requires a minimum 4 night stay to be eligible for the room block rate. Guests do not need to stay at this hotel, but it is highly encouraged as this is where all wedding festivities will take place. Our room block will be available for booking starting in May 2025, one year before the big day! Reservations cannot be made before this date, but we'll be ready to help you secure your spot as soon as the link goes live.

Welcome Event - 5/21/26

The welcome event will be held at the Hyatt Regency Resort at the Hotel Lobby Bar from 6:00pm - 8:00pm. We will be offering light refreshments. All guests and child(ren) are welcome to this event. Please refer to the ‘Dress Code’ page for attire.

WEDDING DAY - 5/23/26

Ceremony: Our ceremony will be held Beachfront at the Hyatt Regency Resort and will begin at 5:30pm. Please arrive to the ceremony and be seated by 5:15pm. Cocktail Hour: Cocktail hour will be held from 6:00-7:00pm at the Palms Greenery located at the Hyatt Regency Resort. Reception: The reception will take place from 7:00-11:00pm on the Events Lawn at the Hyatt Regency Resort. After Party: Following the reception, the bride &amp; groom would love to continue celebrating at a club/bar downtown. Location TBD, all guests welcome ! Please refer to the ‘Dress Code’ page for the wedding day attire.

For Gentlemen: Beach formal means no shorts, short sleeves, or open toed shoes for men. Button-down shirts and slacks required. Linen suits/suit jackets/blazers are acceptable.&nbsp;

For Ladies: We ask that you wear a mid-length or full-length dress.&nbsp;Since the ceremony will take place on the beach, there will be a designated area to leave your shoes during that time. The cocktail hour &amp; reception will be held on a combination of tile and turf, so please keep that in mind when choosing footwear.&nbsp;

Our welcome event will be beach casual - think relaxed, yet put together, like what you’d wear to a nice dinner by the water. For the gentlemen: Short-sleeve button-downs, polos, or breezy collard shirts are perfect. Shorts are fine if they are dressy, but no workout gear or athletic shirts, please. For the ladies: Dresses, skirts, flowy pants, or a nice jumpsuit - whatever makes you feel comfortable and festive ! Sandals and flip-flops are encouraged.

Dress Code

In the early summer of 2019, fate brought Kevin and Vanessa together in the most unexpected way. Kevin was working at Jakeabob’s Bay, and Vanessa was enjoying a night out. After a night of shared glances, light flirting, and a growing connection, Vanessa decided to take the leap. Luckily for her, one of her best friends from high school worked alongside Kevin and helped make the first move.What followed was a coffee date that stretched for hours, filled with easy conversation and an undeniable connection. At the time, Vanessa was finishing her final year at Penn State, so she returned to school, but the two kept in touch.Soon, Vanessa planned a trip home for Thanksgiving, and as fate would have it, that weekend coincided with Kevin renting his very first gym. In a sweet twist, Vanessa became his first personal training client. After her workout, they went to a local diner, where laughter and long conversations turned an ordinary day into something special. One of Kevin’s favorite memories of their relationship came from this day — a perfect blend of connection and joy.Day after day, Vanessa returned to the gym, and with each visit, their bond grew stronger. Before long, Kevin invited Vanessa to his family’s early Thanksgiving celebration. After meeting his entire family, Kevin knew Vanessa was the one.On the day before Thanksgiving, November 27, 2019, Kevin told — not asked — Vanessa that she was his girlfriend. Though Vanessa had to head back to school to finish her semester, and Kevin continued to grow Stonefitt, they made the long-distance relationship work with endless phone calls and FaceTime chats until they could be together again.Then, in 2020, the pandemic unexpectedly brought Vanessa home for good. What could have been a difficult time turned into the beginning of something extraordinary. With Vanessa living at her mom’s house and Kevin just down the street, their relationship flourished.Together, they adapted Stonefitt to the challenges of the pandemic, taking the business online and building it into something they were both proud of. Through long days, late nights, and countless challenges, they leaned on each other and grew stronger — not just as business partners, but as life partners.Fast forward five incredible years filled with love, laughter, and growth. The couple traveled to many places together, continued opening businesses, and even started their family with their puppy, Rogue. On October 26, 2024, Kevin proposed to Vanessa at one of their favorite restaurants, Papi Steak, in Miami. It was the perfect moment in a place that held so many cherished memories.Now, as we prepare to take this next step together, we are reminded of how far we’ve come — from our first coffee date to building a life and a dream together. We can’t wait to celebrate the beginning of this new chapter with all of you.
