Austin and Vanessa met at a night out on the town at Oak Barrel in downtown Milwaukee on November 8, 2019. Vanessa was out with one of her maids of honor, Cami, celebrating Cami's birthday. Austin was out with three of his groomsmen, Ryan, Ben, and Griffin. Austin and Vanessa locked eyes on the dance floor, and since then it has always been each other. They quickly bonded over their shared love for sports, live music, Taco Bell, and a good cocktail. Austin also passed the test of meeting Vanessa's dog, Kilo, which was an immediate green flag for her. After three years of dating, Austin proposed to Vanessa on December 26th, 2022 in Cathedral Park surrounded by Christmas lights (with the assistance of Vanessa's other maid of honor, Becca). They are so excited to get married and share one of their favorite destinations with you.
