Our Wedding

History:Veronica and Nick met at a party where Nick approached her and they hit it off like they were old friends. On May 31, 2019, they went on their first date and became girlfriend/boyfriend on July 14, 2019. Veronica made the move to Atlanta in May/June 2020 and the for the past four years, life for them has been an adventure! They have two fur babies and have traveled to Chicago, NYC, Florida, Guatemala, Mexico etc where they love to experience different cultures! How did he propose?On April 1st, Nick invited their family and closest friends for a "surprise" birthday party for Veronica in Atlanta. Veronica arrived to the brewery where everyone was present. At this moment, Veronica thought Nick was going to propose.. but he didn't! It wasn't until everyone was exiting the brewery, he asked for a group picture and got down on one knee. He popped the question and of course, she said YES!! In their own words, here's how they reflect on their love: Veronica: When I met Nick, he seemed like another smooth talker trying to pick me up at a party. While I have to admit his suave demeanor was attractive, it was his sweet and thoughtful side that really drew me in. He’s outgoing and vivacious, aspiring and determined, caring and kind. I can’t wait to call him my husband and spend the rest of our lives living an adventure! Nick: I was immediately awestruck when I first laid my eyes on her but knew I had to be creative to win her over. She was someone special; I could just tell. From the moment I jokingly pulled out Wendy's coupons on our first date and she said "Oh heck yeah!", I knew I had to keep her. I love how independent and smart she is. And when she smiles, it lights up the room. I tell myself how lucky I am every day to know her and can’t wait to make her officially mine.

 Maria and Veronica are sisters and best friends since birth! They both went to UAB, have the same friends and  have been a part of important events in each others lives! Veronica was MOH in Maria's wedding and now the roles have reversed! Maria a teacher, wife and mom of 2. She's ecstatic her sister is getting married!

Zach and Nick have been best friends since day 1. Zach is Nick's older brother and best friend. They both went to college together, volunteer at the same place and joined the same fraternity. Nick was Zach's best man at his wedding and ix excited to share this experience now with his brother.

Glenda and Veronica are line sisters and best friends. They both went to UAB and since the first day they met, they hit it off. Glenda is a teacher in Birmingham  and dog mom. Veronica was MOH in Glenda’s wedding and is now excited  to have her bestie by her side!

Marco and Nick first met working at Jimmy Johns 10+ years ago and have been great friends ever since ever since.  They both enjoyed college together, working out, traveling and playing Super Smash Bros.  Marco recently graduated from PT school and  is ready to be a part of Nick's big day!

Anaiza and Veronica both went to UAB where they joined the same sorority and became lines sisters! Anaiza is a teacher in Birmingham and loves to spend her time traveling the world! Anaiza and Vero  have shared so many experiences together  and now Anaiza gets to be by Veronica’s side as she says I Do!

Anaiza Medina 

Drake is Nick's  younger cousin and close friend. They grew up together playing video games, spending summers outside and getting into mischief. Nick and Drake are both passionate about eating good food and having a good time whenever possible. Watch out for Drakes dance moves on the dancefloor! 

Drake Fuller 

Scarlett and Veronica met 10 years ago and these two have been great friends since.  They both went to UAB, had the same group of friends and enjoyed their lives to the fullest. Scarlett recently graduated from Law school and recently visited Veronica where she said OF COURSE to standing next to Veronica on her big day!!

Scarlett Alcantara

Tyler is one of Nick's younger cousins and great friends.  These two grew up together and both share the love of Chicago bears football. Tyler and Nick enjoy talking about stocks, current events and technology. Nick is excited to have Tyler as part of his crew as he says I do!

Veronica and Evie  met at a bonfire and began to share their love for coquito… and the rest is history!
Evie and Veronica recently went to Tulum where they both had the time of their lives. Evie works in HR and loves to spend her time traveling and enjoying a nice glass of wine. Veronica couldn't get married without her ATL bestie! 

Evie Suarez 

Nick and Tony first met back in met college at a social gathering  and have been great friends ever since. Tony recruited Nick to join a fraternity ni college and went on to become his Big.  Tony now works for a nonprofit helping with immigrant rights.  Watch out for Tony on the dancefloor!
