When should I arrive in Montana?

Please try to be in Missoula no later than Thursday, May 16th, 2024. This allows enough time for any travel delays you may experience, as well as gives you time to settle in before the wedding on Friday. For those invited to the rehearsal dinner, please arrive no later than Wednesday, May 15th, 2024.

How can I drive to Montana?

There are 2 routes to Montana, both are roughly 24 hours long. Each route runs through Minnesota and then either travels through North Dakota or South Dakota. The South Dakota route drives through Sturgis, Deadwood, and the Black Hills National Forest. It's a slightly longer drive but if you want a more scenic drive, this is the route to take. The North Dakota route is a little bit faster, however, the drive is mostly through flat prairie land.

How can I fly to Montana?

From what we've looked up, only United and American Airlines fly nonstop to Missoula International Airport. Flights that do make 1 stop typically do so in Denver but can also have layovers in LA, Salt Lake City, Dallas, or Minneapolis The nonstop flights are about 3.5 hours long and prices range from just under $300 to $500. Flights with layovers are typically twice as long as nonstop flights and range from $400 to over $500.

How do I get to the wedding venue?

If you didn't take your own car, Uber or Lyft are both transportation options. However, if enough people request it, we may set up a shuttle service on the wedding day to take guests to and from the venue. If not, everyone will just use their own vehicles or find their own transportation. When responding to the RSVP, make sure to put down whether or not you'd like transportation to the wedding venue!

What is the dress code?

Semi-formal or dressy casual. This gives you flexibility and comfort, but be sure to not dress too casual. During the day, temperatures run in the 60s but can get as warm as 70. Bear in mind that it cools down a little bit at night but there will be heaters out on the patio for those who would like to stay outdoors. There are many indoor areas if it gets too chilly for anyone.

Are kids allowed?

While most of you don't have kids, not yet ;) at least, we don't mind if kids are at the wedding! If it means that you can come join us because you don't have to find a baby sitter, by all means, bring the little bastards :) Please let us know when you RSVP if you're bringing your kids and how many so we can prepare.

Can I bring a plus one?

Unless your invitation explicitly states your guest, you may not bring a plus one or any extra guests. Children are an exception, of course, but you must list how many you are bringing when you RSVP so we can plan accordingly.

Are pets allowed?

While we will be having Mora as our flower girl, the venue does not allow any more pets that aren't the couple's. We would love to have your furry babies but we need to abide by our venue's rules. It doesn't mean that they can't join you on your trip, but make sure if they're staying behind at your hotel that they're well taken care of before you join us at the wedding.
