Hei Alle Sammen! Welcome to our wedding site. We will regularly update this site with more details as we get closer to the wedding. In the meantime, thank you so much for celebrating our special day with us. We look forward to welcoming you to Norway!

Our Wedding

Logan moved to Trondheim in October 2019 to begin working on the implementation of Epic (Helseplattformen). At this time Veronica was living in Oslo, but during Covid wanted to move back closer to family in Trøndelag. She began working at Helseplattformen in 2021 as an analyst in the same area as Logan. Over many 1:1s and late night Teams chats they got to know more about one another. Logan finally asked Veronica out for a date in June of 2022 and from there the two of them quickly made up for lost time. Logan experienced rakfisk with Veronica's family before Christmas, Veronica got to see fireworks in America over New Years Eve, and the two of them spent a week in New York at the wedding of one of Logan's groomsmen. Logan proposed to Veronica in May of 2023 in her home region of Fosen. We are excited to welcome you all to Fosen to celebrate with us in September 2024!

Our Story

Our Wedding Ceremony will be held on 7 September in <a href="https://maps.app.goo.gl/vXZaLorTLFubCRCC6" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Rein Kirke</a> Rissa. The ceremony starts at 13:00 and all are welcome to join us as we celebrate.

*Please note that we would like to request that guests do not film or photograph the service. We have a professional photographer for the ceremony and will be happy to share photos of the day with you all afterwards!

Wedding Weekend Program

The welcome dinner, cocktail hour, reception, and morning breakfasts will be held at Hovde Gård. The entire hotel is set aside for Friday and Saturday evenings, and if you would like to stay any additional nights you can coordinate that in your reservation with the hotel. In order to make your reservation please call or email the hotel and say that you're coming for the wedding. They have multiple styled rooms/apartments so please talk through what option works best for you!

If you do not plan on driving to Fosen you can catch the Hurtigbåt (Speed Boat) from Trondheim to Brekstad. The boat takes about 1 hour and the hotel is within walking distance of the terminal in Brekstad. You can purchase your ticket onboard or in advance in the ATB mobile application. Please see the boat times below.

Above are the times for the Speedboat leaving Trondheim Hurtigbåtterminal&nbsp;and heading to Brekstad on Friday. The Speedboat terminal in Brekstad is a 10 minute walk to the hotel along the water. You can find it easily in Google Maps! If you have a lot of luggage don't hesitate to contact Logan and Veronica and we can help get someone to pick you up from the terminal. See below for times back to Trondheim.

Guests who are flying to Trondheim should book flights into TRD. From here, we would recommend getting a rental car since there is some distance between Trondheim and the location of the wedding and the reception. You can find most large rental car companies available at the Trondheim Airport. Below is more information about the rental car options. Reach out to Logan if you have any questions!

Planning to stay some extra days in Trondheim? We'd recommend staying at the Raddison Blu. It is located centrally in Trondheim and is easy to get to and depart from. You can take the airport bus or airport train and both will bring you within a couple of blocks of the hotel.

Car Rental Trondheim - Airport

Would you like to spend a day or two just around Trondheim and not use a car? You can ride the airport bus which drops off at several hotels in Trondheim. You can purchase tickets right outside of the airport or in advance online.

If you'd like a taxi while around Trondheim area you can download the Tronder Taxi app, or call their phone number to reserve a ride. Uber does operate in Trondheim city, but it's not very common.

There will be a bus from the Hotel to the Church and back. You will have the option to also pick up a lunch wrap from the hotel to eat on the way to the church.

Logan and Carl met at Gustavus when Logan was a first-year on the Speech team. Carl is a large part of the reason why Logan decided to join the SAE fraternity and in 2013 they became fraternity brothers. Carl is a dedicated brother and he and Logan make sure to catch up every time Logan is in Minnesota.

Veronica and Julie went to school together for 13 years, before they moved to Trondheim for University. During their studies, they lived together in Julie's apartment. Now they have both returned to Fosen, where Julia and her Boyfriend Espen run a small hobby farm.

Julie Raudberget Langsæter

Breno and Logan started working together at Epic and have been friends since 2016. They are two of the founding members of the Fall Bois crew and have traveled to multiple states, Norway, and London together. In June 2023, Logan performed the wedding ceremony for Breno and his wife Isabel.

When Veronica was six, her family moved  to Stadsbygd and next door to the Askim's. Ellen and Veronica met in a tree and they have been friends ever since! Ellen will also be the Toast Master for the wedding.

Logan and Sean began working together at Epic in 2016 and bonded over many trips to Connecticut and their love for Minnesota. Sean is another founding member of the Fall Bois group and is an honorary Norwegian. Sean lives in Minnesota and has been a great friend to Logan and Veronica.

Veronica and Bilan first met each other working as Radiology Technicians at Lovisenberg hospital in Oslo. They've been close friends since 2016! Whenever Veronica is back in Oslo she always makes sure to spend some time with Bilan and their other close friend Selma.

Jaldo (Joachim) is Veronica's younger brother and lives in Vanvikan 4 houses away from Logan and Veronica. Jaldo and his girlfriend Ida have been great friends of Logan and Veronica and always complimentary of any American food Logan tries to cook for the group. If he offers you moonshine at the wedding, do not accept it.

Veronica and Stine met through the radiograph program at NTNU in 2013 and moved together to Oslo after graduation. After moving back to Trondheim in 2021, Veronica and Stine connected regularly and enjoy spending time with Stine's dog Kayaq.

Do you have some time to do some sightseeing around Trondheim? If so, we'd recommend going to Nidarosdomen. Veronica and Logan attend church here regularly with the Anglicans and you can do guided or self-tours. It is the Northernmost cathedral in the world and an amazing visit.

Kristiansten Fortress is one of Trondheim’s main landmarks. The fort was built after the great city fire in 1681 and now stands guard over the city. It saved the city from conquest by Sweden in 1718. The fortress was decommissioned in 1816 by king Charles XIV John. The fort offers a spectacular view over Trondheim and its surroundings, the fjord and the mountains.The fortress was used by the Nazi forces during World War II. The site where 23 Norwegian patriots were executed by the Nazi forces is inside the fortress. An ecumenical chapel by the execution site may be used.Kristiansten fortress is one of Trondheim’s most popular attractions. It is a National Fortifications Heritage site. The dungeon and museum are the main attractions inside the fortress. The fortress is surrounded by a large recreational area, which is open to the public. The flag, which can be seen from most of the city, is raised when the fortress is open.The gates are open every day throughout the year.&nbsp;

If you have some extra time we'd recommend spending a few days in Fosen. Here you can find beaches, mountains, and Fjords.
