we would walk 12+ blocks from vee's apartment in center city for a fun date in chinatown. we'd get dumplings at Dim Sum Garden or Tom's Dim Sum, and then dessert crepes at T-Swirl Crepe, and bubble tea at TeaDo or Mr. Wish. we'd also grab roast pork buns at Bread Top House for lunch the next day!

ash and vee's absolute favorite bites to eat in Philly are the edamame dumplings and the brussel sprouts! we also really love the ming mule!

our favorite place to get cheesesteaks is a little drive outside the city (Dalessandro's)... but this is a very close second, and it's walking distance from the hotel! ash's order is a cheesesteak w. american cheese and fried onions; vee loves a plain cheesesteak with american cheese. if you want to eat like a true Philadelphian, order wit wiz.

escape to Paris at this chic restaurant that overlooks Vee's favorite park (Rittenhouse Square). we love the steak frites, warm shrimp salad... and everything on the brunch menu.

a really special brunch/lunch spot, that serves RED VELVET PANCAKES and french toast stuffed with all kinds of magical fillings. this place is decadent!

a cute fast-casual restaurant dedicated to MAC & CHEESE. the basic mac is delicious, but you can top it with anything from pesto to buffalo chicken!
