It all started with a hip-hop song, this love of music united us for a first date at Red Rocks Ampitheater. It was 5 am before we parted that first night, after staying up talking and laughing. With a little help from Victor's friend Dave, within 24 hours there was a second date! Another night of music, and finally our first kiss at 5 am before parting ways again.

The closer we became the harder it was to spend time apart. Weekend dates simply became too hard to wait for. This led to the development of a "no more than five days apart" rule, which quickly dwindled down to four, and then the three-night rule.

Within four months of being together, we were ready for our first big adventure together, snowboarding in Banff Canada with friends, with us narrowly returning before the beginning of Covid lockdowns began. During the Covid lockdown we shared our inner artists with each other, experimenting with pour-painting, at home sip-and-paint projects, and figurine painting.

Each new experience and adventure cemented the foundation of our love, friendship, and a desire to explore the world and all it has to offer hand in hand.

By year four our adventures spanned from concerts to swimming with dolphins, to fly fishing in beautiful rivers, and hiking new terrain. We hiked up to Opal Lake in Pagosa Springs for an anniversary picnic when Victor made the promise of "fo eva eva, pinky promise" a reality with a ring and a kiss!
