Things to Do

Smithfield

A river town with a population of less than 9,000 people, Smithfield boasts a picturesque Main Street and a vibrant arts scene (yes, we may have stolen these words from a brochure). It may or may not have taken us an embarrassingly long time to realize that the pig statues littering the area pay homage to Smithfield ham. So if eating pig is your thing - be sure to go hog-wild and get a slice in the Ham Capitol of the World (we won't be serving it at the wedding).
