Before we were dating, but had my eye on him at this point. Made sure he was invited to a small cookout with some friends, snuck this picture in without him knowing 👀

Few weeks later, went to Garden of the Gods with a group, pretty much where it all started. Shot my shot a few days later and talked for a week or so and went on our first date on June 19th!

4th date, went to the river to watch fireworks and got stuck on the way home.

Both pretty sick this day, but we drove to Garden of the Gods in Illinois to see the pretty fall colors even though it was cold and misty 🍂

6 month dating anniversary and a formal party with friends!

Christmas Eve, thought for a minute that I was getting a ring the next day, but I did not

Went with my sister to visit some of my family in Michigan, talking about getting married a little more seriously

Finally convinced him to try Starbucks! This was a big milestone for me 😂

At this point we had considered several times eloping in the mountains…

But….. he proposed!! 💍
