Chandler and Victoria’s story is truly one of a kind. Victoria was a captain on the dance team for Chandler’s high school, Archbishop Rummel. From the day they met, they knew their relationship would go far. Victoria decided to ask Chandler to her winter formal dance at Archbishop Chapelle High School. She decorated signs and a football to propose the idea to Chandler under the Rummel gym after one of his games. Although his team lost that night, he came through the tunnel with a huge smile on his face and accepted the dance invite!

From that point on, they were inseparable. Chandler and Victoria both attended the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Their college experience truly helped them grow and become closer in their relationship. From attending Ragin’ Cajun football games or events, to Alpha Delta Pi socials and formals, Chandler and Victoria never failed to show up to support each other. They both graduated from the University in 2023.

On April 29th, Victoria left to go on a business trip to Philadelphia. Little did she know, she would be coming home to the proposal of her dreams that weekend! The couple went to Jazz Fest to see a few of their favorite artists on the second Saturday, as they do usually every year. The next day, Sunday, May 5, 2024, Chandler had planned the dreamiest proposal. He told Victoria they were taking family photos in Audubon Park. Audubon Park is extremely sentimental to the couple; it is where they took their very first photoshoot in 2017! Chandler knew he wanted to propose to Victoria there. He hired a photographer and had a beautiful floral set up with champagne and candles. When they were on the pavilion stage, Chandler got down on one knee and asked Victoria to be his wife! Of course, she said, “yes!”. The day was filled with family, friends, and memories that will last a lifetime. Their families joined them at their favorite restaurant, Venezias, after the proposal. Later that evening, their friends met them at JB’s Fuel Dock to celebrate the big engagement!

Chandler and Victoria cannot wait to celebrate their marriage with their closest family and friends on May 3, 2025 at St. Anthony of Padua and the Pavilion of the Two Sisters! It is the day that not only the couple has been waiting for for seven years, but their families and friends, too. The day will be filled with love and happiness! Cheers to the Fieldses! #ForeverFields
