Pensacola is home to the world’s whitest beaches. You cannot beat the beautiful water and sugar white sand in the town we call home!
Fort Pickens
Our city of Pensacola is full of history. Fort Pickens is one of our most historical sights. The fort was built in the early 1800s. For a small fee, your family can tour the inside of the fort as well as the outside grounds. Geronimo, an Apache chief, was famously held at Fort Pickens in the late 1800s.
Pensacola Beach Cross
Pensacola is known as the first settlement in North America. The cross at Pensacola beach is where the first known Christian religious service in North America was held. The service was held in 1559. This cross has stood through many hurricanes and serves as a reminder for all who pass it of the sacrifice of our Savior.
